The Renco Preg-Tone II is designed specifically for swine. But there are other Renco models available for pregnancy checking cattle and horses.

Q: Does this work for sheep? I need to preg check 200 ewes a year

The Renco Preg-Tone II Plus is designed for sows only. The Renco Preg-Tone will work with sheep.

Q: Can you use preg tone if the sow is over 30 days? Or is it designed only between 18-30 days ?

You can begin testing sows as early as 18 days and as late as 75 days after breeding and obtain accurate results. The testing done at 18 days should be repeated at 30 days after breeding to assure an accurate test result.
