We used a piece of pre stained trim along the ceiling to help us keep it straight. I think it looks nice and adds a nice border of sorts to the top rather than just screwing into the ceiling. We wanted some privacy in our living room so that people wouldn’t be affronted with our living space just upon opening the door.It’s difficult to hang without some panels bending or warping. We would hang one square where we wanted at the top, screw in the hooks, keep it hanging and line up the next one in the row where the hooks needed to be, marked with a pencil and measured the distance according to the length of the square and it worked well. I like the checkerboard look as it gives privacy and still provides light enough so the room still seems open and airy not confined

I like the size of the squares but I DONT like the hardware which is literally mini safety pins. I didn’t like the cheap and weirdly translated instruction sheet as well. The hardware was mixed with anchors and industrial strength hooks but what holds the panels together are what looks to be very weak baby safety pins. I could go to Walmart for a cheaper set of jewelry jump rings. Heck I could DIY this myself from DT flexible cutting mats and binder rings for cheaper. 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. I’m stuck because I’m a busy woman and went past the return time. I guess I’ll donate it and start from scratch.

I also bought a sheer curtain to finish the look, 4 packs of 2 panels total for the curtainsThe reason I gave it 3 stars is because I prefer they charged me a few dollars more and included more sturdy connector pinsThese are like flimsy safety pins and took me hours to connect 25 tiles

Perfecto y muy util

Obviously, using these in a hen house isn't really what the maker intended, but they work great for this purpose! I only wish they came in biege/sand color instead of just black or white. I went with the white to help reflect the sun. Our large walk-in Chicken coop gets really hot from the late afternoon/evening sun. I have shade cloth on other areas of the coop, but it's hard to see through it, plus this is the side with the door, so I really wanted something better. This enables the hens to still see out, yet really helps create shade on that side of the coop. From the inside it's actually quite pretty to look at and look out of, but from the outside it does make the hen house even more funky than it was before. However, the chickens aren't planning to submit their coop to house beautiful magazine and they definitely like the added shade, so it's a win!I didn't put it together the way they're intended, by using rings to attach them together. Instead I just used my green twist tie wire (the kind you can get on a roll for gardening use) and attached them directly to the hardware cloth wiring that make up the cage (too many predators to use chicken wire around here!). The main downside is that the holes for attaching aren't fully poked out, so I had to poke those out then thread the wire through as I went. Not a terrible issue, but definitely added to my time out in the heat putting these up. They're easy to cut, so I was able to work around the sideways wood on the door and get pretty good coverage. On the pictures, the closer up picture of the outside was taken on a shady day, a different day then the inside picture. The inside picture was taken on a sunny hot day (the same day as the distant outside picture), so you can see how it helps make shade inside the coop.Fully chicken approved and endorsed!!

If spending hours working with tiny safety pins is something you enjoy and then taking exact measurements and having things shift and move and then your measurements are all for naught once you start hanging this shifting bending masterpiece of doom while uttering every curse word you’ve ever learned in languages you didn’t even know you could utter…..than by all means purchase this. Once it’s up it’s pretty but it won’t be perfect unless you hire physicists.
