Elomiwomens Cate Underwire Cup Banded Full Coverage Bra, Ink, 38HH US

I've been having issues with my Elomi bras lately just being Not Quite Right in some way - Bijou was too wide in the cups, Etta is saggy unless I clip it in back, Caitlyn slides off my shoulders in the band size I need. I've been curious about the Cate so I finally bit the bullet - and it is PERFECT. It hoists them as high as I'd like without the back clip (which gives me neck pain), and the straps are actually set close enough together in back to accommodate someone with narrow shoulders! The cups come up fairly high but not enough to be an issue with clothing, and they do a good job of herding my full-on-top bust into the cup without leaving me a little quadbooby blup up top (something that I have issue with in some bras/cuts regardless of cup size). I'm really pleased with this one, and it's definitely replacing Caitlyn as my staple.

The tip of the underwire broke through the side of the bra! There is reinforcement on the side of this bra for the underwire tip, but it isn't in the right place - there is too much of a gap between the top edge and the place where the tip of the underwire actually is. It is a shame because otherwise the bra is supportive and fits well. I've been through 5 of these with the same result each time!

This bra fits very well, is comfortable, and is high quality, but after one year of use, one of the underwires broke. From reading other reviews, I see that this is a common problem. I contacted Elomi, but they were unwilling to send me a replacement underwire. Fortunately, I was able to find a replacement underwire from porcelynne.com. My Elomi Cate bra is UK Size 38H, US Size 38K. Porcelynne's size 56 "heavy gauge vertical underwire" is a very close match, and is made of thicker metal than the original Elomi underwire. Two pairs cost me $3.75, so I am ready when the next Elomi underwire breaks.

I don't know what's going on, but this is the second time in a row that the clasps have broken in less than 3 months. I've bought the same bra for more than 10 years, and while my size fluctuates a bit, I've never had an issue until this year. I know I'm wearing the right size, I frequently get fitted at Nordstrom. My last order was in July and the clasps and claws are already broken off. This shouldn't happen on a $60 bra. Extremely frustrating.

I have soooooo much trouble finding a bra that fits right. Most stores only sell up to a DDD and I'm an F. I've constantly struggled with finding a bra where the middle part that is supposed to sit flat on your chest sticks out like a sore thumb. I've been asked so many times...what's that thing sticking out??? I finally decided to get myself measured, learned my ACTUAL bra size, read the reviews on numerous bras and decided to order this one. All I can say is that it is life changing!!!! No more big bulge sticking out from the middle of my chest and no more uncomfortable feeling where I can't wait to rip my bra off at the end of the day. I highly recommended this bra!!!!

If you are large breasted this is the best bra around. It lifts, separates, and is comfortable for all day wear. My mistake is that I like to take shortcuts and don't hand wash them. :-( I do use a mesh bag in the machine, but I know the proper wash is by hand. These are the only bras I wear!

I'm not one to write reviews often but wanted to save others from wasting money. The positive is that it ran true to size for me at 44 hh(US L). The bad is that it gave me old lady pointy boobs, instantly hurt my back, shoved most of my boobs to the side arm area, and the wire jabs me in the arm with the slightest movement. I don't have the time or ambition to attempt a return but hopefully I have saved others. Oh, another good thing about this was that shipping was as promised and arrived on time even during the zombie apocalypse. So if I described the bra you prefer then buy with confidence.

I wear a size 40HH, so all my life I've known the struggle of finding a good bra. This USE to be a good bra, my ho to once a year purchase. This bra is supportive and my boobs always look amazing! But no more! I will be on the look out for a new brand! Please offer recommendations.Last month I bought a new bra for Christmas, not even a month later the wire popped out! As can be seen the picture above. I know what you're thinking "maybe that one is just defective." I would think the same thing if I hadn't bought a bra this summer and come November the wire was already popped out!I am appalled by the decrease in quality! In the past my Elomi bras have lasted me YEARS! It is ridiculous that in 6 months I've had 2 of their bras bra on me! I know my boobs are super heavy, but DAMN!I will now be looking for another company that actually has quality better than Walmart. I mean come on! This thing is $60+ it should not be breaking in a month!

Ok...I've got big boobs. .. and any woman out there with the same build will know how difficult it is to find a good comfy nice bra!! Well I (and my boobs) absolutely love these bras. They hold the girls up and give me a good shape and are soooo comfy!!

Recently, I have ordered two of these bras in my usual 36FF and they have arrived with just two hooks at the back, instead of the three that they used to have. This makes them much for comfortable. Sometimes they can feel a little high up under the armpits, which isn't so great but on the whole, it looks great and gives me a very good shape.

I bought these for my daughter, most bras ride up at back these didn't. She is very big busted so the price of these was good too. I would recommend these bras for all big boobed ladies

I've got several of these bras and am very pleased with them. It's difficult to find large cup sized bras that are comfortable and once I find one I stick with it. This one was particularly good value and I will buy more from this supplier in the future.

Love Elomi would say have confidence in their products fit well have stuck with the make since I got properly fitted for a bra. Wash & wear great & the wires dont poke through like cheaper brands!
