Summit Hydraulics 3/8" Flat Face Hydraulic Quick Connect Coupler Set w/Dust Caps, 3/8" NPT Thread

I needed to update my MaxJax crud connectors and I bought some of these type but at 1/2 by mistake. I was just about to pull the trigger on another set at the original shop, but Amazon had these on sale. I couldn't turn them down. They are identical to the almost double the price from another vendor. Now I've only had them on for a few days and it will take a long time to know if they are as good as I think they are. But they are not leaking, like the stock BS oring ones that the maxjax ships with.. Happy

fit perfectly, no leaks

These quick connects are massive and better built compared to the originals I got with my Max Jax about 7 years ago. I saw some of the hydraulic fluid leaking at each base of my lift and it appeared to be quick disconnects so I ordered these. Just installed and bleed my lift, I like the ease these disconnect as well as the dust covers. Looking forward to many years of use!

Using these on you maxjack automotive lift. Fittings get connected and disconnected frequently and havent leaked a drop.

I used these to replace the reportedly leak-prone fittings on the Dannmar M-6 portable lift. These fit the supplied hose ends and are awesome to use. Very easy to connect/disconnect and not a drop of fluid from them. The dust caps are great to keep them clean, and I am much less concerned about air ingress (and not at all about leaks) during use and storage of the lift.

Update: Seller replaced the defective pair with no hassles so I upgraded my review to 4 stars. I would buy these again. Ordered a Qty of two sets of 3/8" quick disconnects. One set works perfect the other will not connect or disconnect unless the attached hose on the male connector is removed. I assume the product is defective. I check both sets of connectors for proper operation when received (no hoses attached) and they worked fine. When implemented with hose and pressure applied the one set doe not connect or release properly. Waiting for Seller to replace bad set. Will update review with better rating when resolved.

Make sure you read and know what size your couplers you want. The sizing can be a bit misleading. But they were great about returns.

Decent quality

Had high hopes for these. Quality seems good but the leaked. Heard nightmare problems with flat face leaking but never had problems before. These leaked. Very sad had high hopes. Might be a one off so I won’t be a dick a rate low just because I had a faulty one. I think I will need to contemplate ordering again and see if one off.
