Used for homeschool
We used this in homeschool for my 4th grader. We also used the Charlotte's web one. I think these guides have a good variety of activities and are age appropriate. We usually do one section per week, taking about 4 weeks to complete each book.

Good but for lower grades
I didn’t realize this was a guide for younger grades, the exercises are pretty simple for 5th grade. I still like these instructional guides to follow with the books on our literature list.

Buy the book too.
This is not a book. It's a workbook. You have to buy the book along with this. When I first ordered this booklet, I thought it was a book but was disappointing when it arrived and placed it back into the box to return. But before I returned it, I saw the book on Amazon and decided to buy the book and keep the workbook. My Granddaughter aged 9 enjoyed this book and the workbook.

We gave this to a child who loves to pretend to be a teacher and who LOVES The One and Only Ivan. It was perfect for her and she was thrilled.
