It's Funny, Loveable, and Moves Along Briskly
Ayako is thirty something, raising her niece as her own. What's interesting is that now she wants her niece to date, and the tutor next door seems a good choice, but surprise! He likes Ayako! The backstory is pretty interesting because we learn of the history of these three, and I was shocked that the manga moves pretty briskly. I thought the confession would build up at least, but nope. This 20 something year old tutor BEEN had the hots for Ayako, and I suppose that's what turns this into a comedy but a comedy with feels-- and I am so glad I finally read it too. I will be reading more from these authors/creators.

Funny, cute and awesome
I highly recommend this manga it reminds me of Nagatoro, if you ever read or are a fan of Nagatoro then give this book a try. I usually don't read manga related to romance as I am more into action genre like dragon ball, My hero academia etc but ever since I started reading Nagatoro and watching a few episodes here and there I decided to give this new manga a try I have been hooked it's entertaining!!!

Miu's Mom has Got it Going On
You ever wanted to read a manga about consenting adults falling for each other (over time)? You ever wanted one of the consenting adults to be a Mama type? Do you like a dash of stupid flustered comedy with that? You came to the right place. The manga version of this story carefully follows the LN with, in my opinion, very faithful artwork as well. It tells the tale of Ayako Katsuragi, a capable single mom of an adopted child Miu, as Ayako struggles to come to terms with the fact that her neighbor, a boy she knew 10 years ago when he was only 10 and she 20, has feelings for her. This particular volume covers more of the setup and Ayako's denial, her plans to ruin the idolized image Takkun has of her by trying to make herself look bad in front of him. The next volume will push their story forward, so do stick with it, I don't think it's going to be a pure one-trick pony gag manga.I like most of the characters in this story, especially how the daughter is almost a wingman / wants the two to get together as much as the reader. I also appreciate Ayako's honesty with her feelings after her denial nonsense ends, which we'll get to see more of in volume 2.

Very good
Very good story and artwork. It's obviously well made. I like the storyline a lot, you dont see many older-female/younger-male love stories especially in manga. It's also dealt with in a good manner, characters are confronted with real decisions about how they feel vs how they are afraid society would feel.I do think there are a lot of fan-servicey camera angles, but this seems to only be a big thing in the first volume as if to keep the reader's attention at all costs lol and the mom, though very innocent at heart, is a victim of being too voluptuous for her own good. Wouldn't let my own kid read this till they were older, but as for myself I enjoyed the story and will continue to read it.

You Like Me, Not My Daughter?!, Vol. 1 (My Kindle Review)
We follow thirty-something single Ayako Katsuragi who’s been raising her teenage niece Miu as her own daughter after she became on orphan as a child. The two couldn’t been that different as Ayako is sweet, bubbly and beautifully busty and Miu is serious, teasing and occasionally expressionless. They also share a friendship with college age tutor Takumi since he was a child. However, an evening of drinking changes everything when Takumi confesses his romantic feelings to Ayako . Flattered at first, she worries that being a couple with a big age gap would be uncomfortable and attempts to make him understand that.I was expecting this to be a risqué ecchi-type manga, but it’s still an odd but emotional rom-com that has a bit of that “Domestic Girlfriend” feel. A bit cliche at times but still brings you in with that familiar feels of lovey-dovey behavior that leaves you wondering if this story’s romance can happen. B+ (83%/Very Good)
