Eloise in Paris

My granddaughter is five years old and loves the Eloise stories I think she identifies with her especially when she’s doing some of the things she’s not supposed to do. She loves her messy room

My girlfriend bought this book as a present for a sick child. She didn't realize she was logged into my Amazon account, so I ended up with a Kindle copy of the book on my phone. The illustrations are gorgeous, the text is sentimental and amusing, and the whole thing evokes a feeling of excitement and enthusiasm that I can't remember personally experiencing, either as a real child or in real Paris. I wish I had read Eloise when I was young. The child in your life will be glad to have this book.

My niece is french so I wanted to get her a sweet book that she would enjoy. It is a wonderful story and fun book for every little girl.

Delightful book! As an adult who wishes I could speak French, I found it fun to brush up with Eloise as she took up the language I love. I gave it as a gift to a friend who had given it to a grandchild and told me it made her sad to give it up. Before I gave her this copy I read it also!! If you love Paris, the french language and are of any age this is a book for you. It's a treasure!

Read this book to my grandson, he adored the part where she flew to Brussels and the airplane had real beds, with curtains. Also fun that there was French mixed with the English. A great series for early readers.

My daughter grew up on Eloise. We loved ready and laughing at her antics and have repeated the line "charge it, please" on several occasions! She studied abroad this past spring in Paris, so naturally, we purchased this as a surprise gift to welcome her home. The little nuances in the book are fun to find - famous people sprinkled throughout and fun places that she remembers visiting. A treasure for your book collection.

My 7 year old daughter loves Eloise. She enjoyed the book, although she did not understand a lot of the words since lots of them are in french. I think this book needs an adult around.

This was one of my favorite books as a child. I just bought it for my granddaughter to experience the wonder of Eloise. Charming and unique, she is.

even though you may think it could be hard to relate to the posh little girl set around 80 years ago. It is so easy, she was a true feminist and got into more scrapes that the average little boy. Great insight into adult relationships and life from a little girls perspective who is very matter of fact about her life with uninvolved glamorous parents who are never there with a rawther liberal nanny!this is even better if your kids are learning some french, they will very much appreciate the humour.I think there should have been books on the parents who were probably just as funny.

What's not to like about Eloise? She's hilariously irreverent, curious, funny, brilliant. Her little French phrases are pure genius. Of course, if she was my own daughter I'd be frustrated and annoyed most of the time, but she isn't so I'm not. The Eloise books are masterpieces.
