Teva Men's Katavi 2 Sport Sandal

Enjoyed first pair that I ordered so much, I bought another. Fits as expected. Good traction. good value. easy to adjust and velcro holds in place nicely. Show little wear despite my considerable usage.

These sandals replaced a pair of Teva sandals I had had for years. Happy to say that the construction and quality has not declined over time. In fact, this model is actually easier to fasten. Highly recommend them

I've tried similar sandals but always come back to the Teva Katavi 2. They are very comfortable ... good for wearing all day, and hold up well over time.

This is a first impression of the Teva Katavi 2 sandals. Since I have only had them for two days, this review cannot address the durability of the sandals or how they will feel over the coming months of summer. But I can make some initial comments after having worn them for a couple of days. 1. They are sturdy and very well made with quality materials. I suspect that they should last a relatively long time. 2. They fit completely as expected. In other words, I usually wear a size 11 men's shoe. These are size 11 and fit correctly as one would expect. 3. They have good arch support. 4. Since they are sports sandals, the heavy rubber outsoles should allow for walking over rough and wet terrain. 5. The leather uppers are not sewn to the base. So, there will not be any problem with separation of the uppers from the base due to worn threads. 6. They are stylish looking with the orange highlights on the otherwise brownish leather. But I took one star off because the straps are not soft against my bare feet. I am sure that after they are completely broken in I will not mind the straps, but initially they seem a little stiff and uncomfortable. The sandals are advertised as suitable for light hiking. But I personally would not hike in them because I suspect that my feet might possibly get a little sore around the straps. I thus would have rated them about 4 1/2 stars if it were possible to do a half star.

I loved these Teva sandals, but the quality control is lacking. They are comfortable to walk in, and they are fairly light in weight. The fit is good, though the heal strap seems to sit a little lower than the last pair of Teva I owned. I really like the olive color. The last ones I owned traveled through the Grand Canyon and Olympic NP, so they were well worn. If these last as long, they'd be great, but the strap buckle was sewn at the wrong angle and now doesn't tighten correctly.

Excellent sandals and true fitting. Teva has a reputation for quality that i find well deserved. Will definitely buy them again

My previous pair of Tevas lasted 13 years. Primarily used for summer bicycling and fishing. Loved them. That pair was oversized - they were labeled as Size 9 and normally wear a 10 or 10.5. I had taken previous advice and ordered them a size smaller, and it worked 13 years ago. These current Tevas are much more close to expected size. Size 10 fits me perfectly. So the old advice about buying Tevas a size or two smaller does not hold like it used to.

These fit very comfortably and also seem rugged and dependable. There was no breaking in necessary.

Excellent fit and or so comfortable. A great pair of sandals. I hope they last. This is my first pair and if the first week is any indication, I will be coming back again for another pair when they wear out.
