Product - I ordered some of these cables at the beginning of the current 'Apocalypse'. I felt it time to move on from traditional cables, as these would occasionally get knocked or pulled through day to day use - causing excess stress on my phone's USB port.I liked the idea of leaving a few around the house, or in the car etc, and being able to wave the bottom of my phone in the general direction of the cable, without having to faff too much. It's so convenient! This pretty much works as I'd hoped, but obviously you need to be fairly close. The cable isn't going to connect from a foot away.The Micro USB ends fits snuggly into my phone, or other devices (I actually have some USB C ends, from another pack of Cafele cables, which are interchangable). The cables themselves appear strong and durable and charge time appears to be as quick, if not quicker than a regular cable. I wasn't sure how well data transmission would work, but that too appears to be pretty quick as well. Overall, I'm very impressed with thse cables, and would buy again.Customer Service - Unfortunately, despite seeming durable, the cable covering came away from one of the ends. I've got no idea how this occurred, as I've tried pulling on the other end, as well as other cables - they don't budge. I can only assumed there was a manufacturing fault with it. I contacted Cafele Support about this and I was pleased to receive a prompt reply from them. I always worry about having to contact a third-party seller, but they were great. I just explained what was wrong, and how the cable had been used (in the normal way) and they replaced it. There was no fuss, or pointless questions. Great customer service. Thank you.As mentioned above, I definitely wouldn't hesitate to buy these, or indeed other cables from Cafele, the next time I'm in need of some.

I was quite impressed with the cable, it is magnetic (obviously) but not too strong or too weak. I use this for my son's 8 inch Huawei tablet.I was initially concerned about the exposure of the cable to open fingers, but I've touched it and I don't get any shocks or anything from it.I wouldn't recommend connecting to something that is wet or with wet hands, and I certainly would keep out of reach of children.Overall I am pleased with the sturdiness, ability to stay 'connected' to my tablet and I haven't noticed any reduction in charging speed, the tablet usually warns me about slow charging rate.

I use this on a keyboard that has both wired and wireless functionality. I can easily swap between both modes simply by unplugging the magnetic cord, without risking damaging the micro usb port by constantly inserting/removing a normal cord. Very useful.

I love the fact that you can keep the connector in the phone at all times and it's rather very secure in there and ready for charge on the fly. There is the possibility of knocking it off and losing it but imho chances are very slim and i have been putting in and of my pocket etc and it still stayed inbplace. Also I love the toughness and reliability of the cable wrapping and that you can charge the phone at various angles without damaging the cable. That was the main reason i got them as I went through numerous regular cables that kept breaking just at the connecotor. I love it in my car as well as i can get my phone charging just by flicking the cable to it and it automatically attaches due to the strong magnet minimizing time spent and distraction helping me do it with ease. The idea is good and the saving made by not stressing and damaging the phone charging socket makes the purchase worthwhile but the little plugin can be bent by removing the lead. If you try to pull straight out the plugin comes out attached to the lead. So then you adopt a method of 'breaking' the magnetic grip by breaking at 90 degrees. This puts stress on the plugin and eventually the metal develops a stress fracture. Since these plugs have lasted over 4 months, the cables are robust and still in good condition I shall buy some more plugins and try to remember to break the magnetic hold sideways and see if that makes a difference.

This is so useful. I nearly had to buy a new phone because the charging socket was worn and the lead kept falling out. I glued in the usb bit and now it so easy to charge the phone. Easier that fiddling with the type 2 usb plugs. They are so good I bought more and put them in our phones, tablets and kindles. My wife has carpal tunnel and finds them so much easier to use. They have strong magnets and almost leap at the usb hub. They will also do data transfer.

Unusable and had to return it. The magnet is too strong. The idea of these is to save the power connection socket which is a weak point on phones but the magnets so strong it pulls the attachment out with it anyway so you may as well have a normal cable

These cables are the best that I have use so far.They are very well made with a flexible silky braid cable and also a beautiful finish to the cable and at either end with a sturdy highly polished finish and blue indicator light. The charging speeds are very fast on all the appliances that I have tested and the ease of use is perfect.
