Great Value
Well it's Parkside, they offer the DIY group great value products and this is no exception. works superbly well, as with any major Belt Sander care is needed in use not to end up with deep unwanted groves in the surface, as this sander is a beast! A great product.

European plug and used not new.
I have had one of these before unfortunately broke after falling off my work bench so I bought this to replace it. Got it out to use the first time only to find a European plug so needs an adaptor to make it usable without invalidating warrantee and there is sawdust in and on the machine, and marks on the plastic having obviously been used before.

Paper alignment
Using sander for first time sanding a peace of 3x1x2ft paper got jammed. I reset paper happened again.going to send back.or contact them to see what they can do.

Avoid
It won't keep the paper straight. No matter what you do, and how you set it, the grinding sheet will go off track and start eating the housing.

Do not waste your money on this
After 30 mins it died in a spectacular puff.Customer service told me that it's too "filthy" to be repaired - and on that basis, they are voiding the warranty. I sure lovely people that work there have never touched belt sander in their life, and have no clue what dust that produces.Save yourself a disappointment and buy the next one up as the price difference is not that great anyway.
