These are magnetic caravan locker catches. They are magnetic! And they are brown!

Bought to fix a door to some boxed in pipework around our central heating boiler. These are great because they conceal the ugly pipes, but being magnetic means that the door fits flush with no unsightly handles.

I found these magnetic catches good product for a fair price. I installed one of these catches at the top and bottom of the two doors on an old free-standing wardrobe that I purchased. They are working very well for that application.NOTE WELL: These catches are described as having a 6 kg pull. That is NOT accurate! I tried to pick up an 800 gram steel hammer with one of the catches and the magnet could not bear the load. For my purposes they worked very well because they only needed to hold the vertically mounted doors on mu wardrobe closed. If you need a magnetic catch that will actually hold a load of up to 6 kg, I do not believe these would suit your purpose.

I use these on my shutters - they are not really strong enough magnetically and may only last a year or so.

I installed these on my old wardrobes as they were opening everyone and these did the trick and they no longer just stay opened

Recently 'run out' of supply of a near identical item, ie which more than 'lived up' to my exoectations, I'm 101% confident that latest purchase will be the same success story.

You need to be in behind the door to align these properly but once fitted in the right place they work correctly.
