an economical way to begin your Nordic pole walking journey
For a low priced set of poles, I'm quite happy with these. The manual being in German is a bit annoying, but sufferable. The height adjustment is easy and secure (but needed twice per pole). Since I'm a noob and have nothing to compare with, they rather "rattle" when walking probably owing to the 3-section design. The grips and straps work well and are comfortable. Anyhow, if you need an economical way to begin your Nordic pole walking journey, these are a good value.

Well made
I feel they are well made. Could adjust them just fine. Like the way the wrist/glove feels. Yes the instructions are in German. So what, just look up how to adjust walking sticks and you have your answer. Not rocket science.

Well made trekking poles with a few caveats
The ATTRAC poles are well-designed, well-made, reasonably priced and light weight; it is easy to see why they are very popular in Germany, where the distributor is located. They are easily adjustable for length and should work well for a wide range of users. Different tips are provided making the poles suitable for use on many surfaces ranging from paved paths to mud to mountain trails. The hand grips are widely adjustable using Velcro wrist straps rather than the more conventional loops. This may be a disadvantage for some; it will take a few moments for a user to unstrap if she wants to access her water bottle or back pack, or if she falls. In most respects adjustments are intuitive or evident from the photos supplied on the seller's webpage. This is fortunate since the instructions supplied with the poles are only furnished in German and the seller is unable to provide them in English. For example, the poles are advertised as having a dampening/shock-absorbing feature but it isn't clear from the photos how to activate this feature.

What we have here is a failure to communicate
The product, Nordic walking sticks, appear well made, but the instructions and more importantly the promised app are only in German. This diminishes its functionality and value. I would suggest clearly stating this in the description.

Use them all the time
I use these every time I go hiking. Makes it so much easier on my back and legs. I wish they would make them with a button where they just retracted real easily when not using and could pack away, but I guess that’s not realistic.

Only buy if you are looking for inexpensive
Grips were too uncomfortable. Poles to heavy. Sent them back.

Anti-Shock cushioning explanation
PBA this explanation from the company will be of help to other customers.“The damping (Anit-shock) is located between the middle and the upper segment. It is ENABLED when the length is adjusted here and the segments are locked. To deactivate it, the middle segment must be turned a few millimeters to theLEFT in the OPEN direction in relation to the upper segment. One hears a quiet click. Then it can be reactivated by turning it the same way in the otherdirection. To test the damping, place the stick with the tip on the ground and put someweight on it (e.g. lean on it).The cane will then give between these two segments and bounce a bit.It takes some weight for the damping to become active. It should absorb hardblows and not already be at the stop. “
