I tried a few different mid-priced options ($30-$70), but they all had issues, either clarity, distortion, or field of view. So while I really didn't want to pay the $170 for these at first, turns out that was necessary to get a quality pair of glasses. Lens removal is pretty easy; just have to use a bit of pressure. Great clarity. I bought these and though I still may end up with the Ranger Edge or Falcon Pro at some point, these are perfect for now. I currently have HDspex Pumas (now Pill outlaw X6) and spent a lot of time debating between the phantoms or adding lenses to my pilla frames. I got very frustrated trying to research Pillas due to the insane amount of lens options and the very confusing lens color codes. So I figured I'd give the phantoms a try. The phantom kit (I also bought a 4th lens straight from RE ranger) was less than adding a single lens to my Pilla/HDspex set.I'm extremely pleased with the clarity of these glasses. The fit is very similar to that of an Oakley M frame, which are my regular sunglasses but the clarity difference is huge. The phantoms provide far superior clarity (over the oakleys and my older HDspex lenses) and are an excellent value. I'm re-entering the world of clay shooting after a 11 year hiatus and these are the perfect set of glasses for me at this time.
