I have a good enough idea how to set things out, so did not need it for that really, but I am also a dreamer of pretty things. So yes i loved this book. Feeling down, want to snuggle up to a log fire on a cold wet afternoon, then add this to your library. it will encourage some of you to have a go to group a collection, but go easy or you can end up cluttered. Beauty in things is often seen when there is a plain back ground to frame it. Keep a colour group of items or group others with something in common into a group, add some various heights. Look at stuff you would not normally display in a sitting room and see if it has that group appeal. You may surprise yourselves. Don't forget when hanging pics etc on the walls, group them in common, maybe by frame colour and get at least one base line somewhere in the group too to anchor them. Another tip is to keep looking at them as you go by in different directions and sitting down and see if they please or annoy, that way you will eventually get it right or forget it and try something else. If you are not with pintrest then you just have to go in and go gooey on those pics too.

I purchased this wonderful book for ideas on finishing touches for a guest bedroom - lamps, pictures, wall decorations and it surpassed expectations. The book is unputdownable, cramed full of advice and I highly recommended it. Would also make a fantastic gift - and a great coffee table book.
