Firefly Wildlife Atlas: A Comprehensive Guide to Animal Habitats

What an important coverage of nature in a world where wildlife needs help through education! And using the Farndon Wildlife Atlas to start younger school classes kicks it off. The 2017 Atlas is so useful to classroom teachers that I am buying four copies to give to practising teachers in my family. Four of us, teachers who taught in BC schools since 1948, want to give back to the cause of nature conservation.The nature material in the atlas provides lessons for much of the school year. And I hope that lots more classrooms will have the atlas because it will be a big help in teaching the New BC Science curriculum in all grades, starting in Kindergarten. Huge thanks to John Farndon for his excellent work! We would like him to do another book that focuses on West Coast coniferous forests.Meanwhile we will make some dramatic scripts of animals in Farndon atlas pages talking to each other. The TpT dialogues will deliver interconnections between living things in habitats of the world as they are covered in the atlas. What stories the book can tell!
