I have tried half a dozen cases for the ipad mini 6, but most of them are too flimsy with no protection or too bulky to make room for the pencil. While this case isn't perfect, it gets most of the elements right. It's still fairly slim but still protective. The protective bumpers around the edge could still stand to be a little slimmer -you kind of have to dig for the power/volume buttons, but it is still slim enough to be able to use fingerprint ID. The case is also a pretty sturdy stand. This ended up being the reason I didn't like the folio cases I tried, the folio cover didn't hold its shape when you rolled it up into stand mode and would collapse pretty easily if you try to use it on your lap. This one doesn't have that problem. I also like the way this case handles the apple pencil, adding a single clasp on the side that is secured by the magnetic flap. It keeps the case from gaining any additional bulk. Lastly, the case is very grippy and you can hold it comfortably for a long time without feeling like it's ever in danger of dropping or slipping from your hand. It might be on the pricier side of mini cases, but to me this was the one that just hit all the right boxes and will probably be my long term case for the device.

Works perfectly for the new mini A17. Love my new case. It’s very sturdy. For the price, it has a nice hold and doesn’t weigh anything. Money well spent with this case.

This iPad case is really nice, I’m able to put my iPad in my bag and just go without worry of scratching or dropping it. I do have two complaints about the case however, one being that I don’t like the way it stands for drawing or just for holding/handling the iPad. I wish it was a bit sturdier when I use the front flap as a stand to draw. It feels a little flimsy. My other complaint is the finger ID, the case fits around the button a little snug so that it can be hard to get a good reading to unlock your iPad. These complaints seem pretty small in the grand scheme of things however, the case has been able to protect my iPad from falling and being scratched/cracked by my car keys. It’s reliable, and I’m sure there’s accessories that I could buy to make it work better for me (as well as resetting my finger ID while the iPad is in the case-I haven’t tried that yet). Id definitely buy from this brand again

Great protective case

Purchased used like new. Other than the packaging, it looks like new. Excellent condition and some reviewers stated that the fingerprint button was hard to reach and make work. They were wrong. It is easy to reach and unlock. The pencil holder is also great! It ahould keep my Mimi safe if I were to drop it. This is very well made. However, I found out that the cover wouldn’t allow me to use the open/close feature. so I will be returning.

The color is beautiful! The fabric is soft and grippy. It feels like a very sturdy and durable case. Definitely a lot more thickness on the sides to protect the iPad and pencil. The grip for the pencil is great because it keeps it secure while opening the cover but it’s not in the way while using the iPad. It’s slim enough to travel with it in a purse. The only flaw is the folio part is a little loose when closed. The cover still stays on with the magnets so I don’t think it’s gonna be an issue. For the price it’s the best iPad case I’ve seen so far.

It’s UAG so you know what you’re getting - good quality and well made. Why only 4 stars? Because the wake/sleep function is very hit & miss. The colour (think powder blue) is also a lot lighter than it looks in the photos and is already looking quite shabby. Good but not great.

OK product , but for the price expected a tiny bit more

This case fits both the iPad Mini 6 and 7 since they are the same outside. It is an extremely good case for the price. I bought it in blue which looks good on my blue mini. The case is premium quality with a thick plastic back case but still lets you see the back of the mini. The front screen protective flap is nicely textured and really looks good. It allows the mini to be held in three positions when watching a movie or video. The magnetic closure secures the pencil however there is also a plastic pencil holder the really secures the pencil when you are using the mini but not the pen. The pen is held in such a way that it charges while held firmly in place. All the button work well while the case is on and when you close the front protective flap the iPad Mini automatically shuts down. All in all this is the best case I could find for my mini for the price. Highly recommended,
