These sheets are light weight, thin and just flexible enough but sturdy. Easy to trim to exact size and can radius corners in a "corner-rounder" (as used for laminated badges). They are inexpensive enough I can have one or two in each sleeve and soft case. Easy to glue in place with a few dabs of E6000.I don't know how they hold up to sharp knives as a cutting board. Haven't tried that as I have plenty of cutting boards in my kitchen, and some are flexible.
