I have purchased this twice one for home and one for work (hairstylist). I love that it will do the decimal point for more accurate measurements. Small and easy to use.

As an avid home-brewer, for years I've muddled through with kitchen scales that had accuracies of +/- 5 grams. When the smallest quantity I needed to weight was a half-ounce of hops, this was acceptable. But as I've gotten more involved in the process and started messing with the chemistry of my brew water, I really need something that could resolve to at least a gram, or half-a gram. This little scale does that. It's not exactly lab quality, but comparing it to a very expensive lab balance I found it to be accurate to about +/- 0.02g -- or about 200 times more accurate than the clunky old kitchen scales I was using before. Although not pro-lab quality, it is quite accurate enough for kid-level home science, and I have used it to measure out quantities for chemistry experiments that my niece and I do when she comes to visit. The scale is small -- the weighing platform is about 4-inches square, and the maximum capacity is just over a pound. But it's designed for weighting \small\ quantities, and it does this with an accuracy far beyond your typical kitchen scale. It's easy to use, and easy to calibrate (although as another reviewer, Rick M. points out, the calibration procedure given in the manual is wrong.) The scale comes with two plastic containers that you can use to put what you're weighing in, protecting the stainless steel platform. One note of caution here: the plastic containers tend to pick up a static charge, and the scale is so sensitive that you may notice the scale change readings (in the negative!) as the plastic comes near the platform. A quick wipe of the outside of the container with a damp paper towel will help minimize this effect, which shouldn't, in any case, affect the weight reading. Once the pan is on the platform everything settles out and tares nicely. Takes two AAA cells, not included. All in all, a very nice little scale, and for this price you can't go wrong, so long as you use it for its intended applications.

Works perfectly. I bought this because I have been trying to cut weight and wanted precise measurements for my food. I have used a few different scales over the years but this is one I would highly recommend. For the price point as well it is well worth it.

Great budget precision scale for bakers who need accurate measurements for small ingredients. Works well right out of the box and is easy to clean and store.

This scale is supposed to be "factory calibrated" -- but the measurements are way off. The process for recalibrating doesn't work either (I've always used kitchen scales and know how to use them; it's not user error.) Plus, it's so small and flimsy that heavier items wobble around until they can settle. This is going in the garbage -- complete waste of money.

Easy to use and very helpful.

I got this scale to replace one like it that went kaput (tare button barely worked). This is the 3rd scale of this type I've purchased, but the first of this brand. Two things about the other 2 scales were kind of annoying: 1. Any weight within 0.03 of a gram was rounded up or down on the display. Both 10.97g and 11.03g, and everything in between, read as 11.00g on the display. 2. The pressure transducer drifts. Putting a 183.15g item on the scale and pressing tare sets the display to 0.00; so far, so good. But later, when you remove the item(s) on the scale, it should read -183.15g, but it often read -183.05g or so. The pressure transducer was not returning to its original state. THIS SCALE HAS NEITHER OF THE ABOVE TWO ISSUES. I was frankly shocked when I say the last two digits read .98 or .99 or .01, instead of jumping to (and locking onto) .00. I was also pleased to see the display read the correct negative value after using the tare function and removing the weight. The only advice I have: give the scale a few extra seconds to stabilize. Sometimes the last digit will bounce around for a few seconds before settling. At most it's maybe a 5 second wait, so it's no big deal.

The overall product quality is disappointing. While the scale technically works and provides readings, the build quality feels very cheap. The materials used are lightweight and flimsy, and the finishing is poor. The buttons lack tactile feedback, and the display does not feel well integrated into the unit. Overall, it gives a strong impression of low manufacturing standards. From a usability standpoint, it functions, but the lack of quality and durability raises concerns about long-term reliability. It does not feel like a product that will last. If you are only looking for a very low-cost option and don’t mind the poor build, it may suffice. However, for anyone who values quality, durability, and a more refined product experience, I would recommend considering alternatives.
