AWesome product!
I use these brackets to enforce my patio sliding doors. Anything available is very flimsy and these brackets are Godsent! I cut a piece of 2x4 and feets a bit loosely, exactly the way for easy use ! THANK YOU ! They heavy duty too!

Not for standard 2x4 lumber. Returning.
Won't work with standard dimension lumber. Maybe custom sawn from a sawmill.

They do the job
They hold the 2x4s horizontally. They look decent. They don’t come with screws.

These will NOT fit standard US lumber sizes
Unless you have specialty cut lumber, these hangers will NOT fit the standard US 2" x 4" wood studs. These hangers are exactly 2" x 4" inside width. However, standard US lumber that is called 2 x 4 is actually 1.5" x 3.5", ALWAYS!!!! Hence these hangers are too big. THEY WILL NOT, NOT, NOT FIT A 2 x 4 as advertised. You could shimmy with 1/4" plywood strips, but that looks absolutely ridiculous if you are going for a beautiful professional finish. Unfortunately I missed the item return deadline. Guess I'll have some expensive paper weights.

Not for treated lumber should be in the title.
The title advised for 2x4 wood. But you must read everything on the webpage. I did not. I assumed the title was exactly what I was looking for but unless you get your wood directly from a saw mill, you can not use these.
