Very lightweight. Need to drill 1/8" hole in rim to fit Apprentice S 15e landing gear.
Been trying to swap out stock tires to raise front end slightly so propeller doesn't hit grass. These tires are extremely lightweight. I'm waiting for delivery of 3.5" lightweight tires for the back (which might actually pitch propeller downward which I do not want [Idea: buy 1.5" or 1.75" sport wheels in rear]). While awaiting arrival, I figured I would throw both tires on my Apprentice A 15e and see if it fits. Very minor mods needed. 1) Drill 1/8" hole in sport wheels. They come ~1/64" or 1/32" too small. 2) The stock collars are too big to secure both tires on front. You must buy DuBro 1/8" collars with locking screw. They fit the landing gear wires/rods PERFECTLY and are substantially smaller. I also added a very small washer between the two tires to keep them from binding together. The foam and rims may still interior touch each other since the of the rim is slightly narrower than the circumference of the rim and tires but it won't hurt. I've yet to fly it but will update once I try it out. Double front tires on the plane give it a unique look that I am happy with. By adding these tires to the front, I gained 13/32" of propeller elevation. I do wish this wheel we're available in a 4" or 5" so that I could really raise the plane up but I will take what I can get.

Soiid, light weight
These are sturdy and light. I painted spokes and rims with Rust-Oleum spray paint and it came out well. The tires are squishy enough to easily tape them off from the rims. I didn't even bother to rough up the plastic before painting and there was good adhesion.

Great wheels
I wanted to fly my RC planes on the land I live on rather than having to travel to a flying field. But, the ground was somewhat uneven and the grass made it more challenging. Since the wheels on my RC planes seemed small, I decided to try larger wheels. But, they needed to be light enough to not weigh down my plane. Well, these wheels turned out be just perfect. Large enough to roll over the grass stubble and the imperfections in the ground. Now, I get to fly at home any time the wind permits. What a joy!

They are light.
These are pretty light weight. They look nice enough, if you want to paint rims easy enough because tires are not glued on. I wish I knew that before I flew my plane cause tires came off rims on take off. I ended up getting bigger heavier tires for my plane. These would be good for light plane in my opinion about a pound. Like a foam board plane.

Very cool wheels.
Cool retro look. They roll over everything. Nice landing gear. They have taken some abuse with no problem. I set them up to be removable so I can use pontoons or wheels.

Better than homemade. Ultra light.
These are light and do not act like a fin the way solid wheels do. With a drill press they can be opened up to suit bearings.

2 in 1 pack VS 2 pack
ADVERTISED AS TWO PACK, how many planes need 1 wheel? I mistakenly assumed two pack was two packages of 2 wheels. Not the ONE PACK of two wheels.

Well made and light.
As I usually find, Dubro products are well made, consistent in quality, and worth the price. These are really nice lightweight wheels for small plane applications. But they're not fragile. I use a pair of these for an alternate launch dolly that I made for my Durafly Komet -- hardly a "micro" model in size/weight.
