Darkness Unleashed (Guardians of Eternity Book 5)

I just love the Guardians of Eternity books by Alexandra Ivy, they are amazing. The characters are all strong Alpha types whilst the heroines are all feisty, strong willed and accepting of the paranormal. Long may this series continue.

I am absolutely loving this series, I love the vampire stories. Each book leads you to the next and yet another sizzling hot and six citing werewolf or vampire. Love this series.

What can i say, a fantastic book by a fantastic author. More and more please - we really need more from this author she is a true gem.

When people say "stand alone book" it's supposed to mean one whole and finished story in one book. I dont think that any "series" books can be counted as "stand alone" as past charectors and their mates appear here and there, to obviously understand who and how they are its preferable to read all the books. this is the 5th book in this series, vampires with their mates, one a seer, an alien of sorts a human etc... where its not on par with nalini sing and jr ward feehan/kenyon etc it's a pretty close 2nd to these types of books., you can only read the above famous and talented authors so many times when you need to hunt for more., this is that type of series.

I agree with the last reviewer - it's quite a good story, and quite a good series, but it's no Keynon/ Feehan/ Knight. However, there is a couple of annoying things about the book. Firstly, there is loads of opening brakets and closing brackets. There is no need for this. It's beyond lazy writing. Secondly, at one point the badies name changed from Sadie to Sophie. This interchanged through a whole chunk of the book. Can't even begin to tell you how annoying and distracting this was. It's really terrible editing. So if I could have given 3 1/2 I would, but rounded up to be nice.
