So delicious!!
Pure acai is delicious! I've had it in store-bought smoothies and acai blueberry drinks, but I've never had it on it's own. I always thought it would be tart, but it's not at all. It's subtle and sweet and so good! The powder is a very dark blackish-purple color. I added a teaspoon to a vanilla milkshake, expecting to get a deep purple milkshake, but that's not what happened. The powder didn't dissolve completely, so it wound up looking like a light purple cookies and cream milkshake. I was expecting it to be gritty, but it surprised me once again! I don't really understand how, but it wasn't gritty at all! The majority of the particles stayed suspended in the shake, and the ones that sunk to the bottom easily mixed back in when I stirred it. It tasted like a light, sweet berry milkshake with just a hint of chocolate...definitely a new favorite! I can't wait to try this in my berry smoothies and to see what else I can do with this purple goodness! I also love that it's an excellent source of iron. I try to give blood as often as I can, but my hemoglobin levels are always very low (sometimes so low that the meter won't even read my blood). I don't eat a lot of red meat, so I'm always looking for other foods that are high in iron. This will be a great booster for the days leading up to my appointment! It tastes amazing, and it's great for my body...I couldn't ask for anything better!

Best Acai Powder I've Tried
Sarifoods acai powder is awesome! I made the most delicious smoothie, that even my 8 year old loved--acai powder, bananas, strawberries, almond milk, maca powder, and spirulina powder. The color of the acai berry disguised the green of the spirulina and he drank it right up! I love getting all those great antioxidants and omega fatty acids, and loads of other nutrients in such a delicious way! It's so much better than taking them in capsules. I've tried a couple other brands of acai powder and this one seems to be the smoothest in powder form so it mixes in really well with whatever you add it to. The flavor is also nice--not too tart but just the right mix of flavors and not overwhelming. I've been having my acai powder smoothies every morning for a couple of weeks and feel great! I am absolutely a loyal sarifoods fan!!

Good taste, but not as good as the frozen acai packets
I ordered this to make at home acai bowls and it works fine, but the frozen acai packets are more flavorful.

Does not take much to at a lot of great flavor
Delicious! This is my first experience with Acai powder and so far I am impressed. It adds a really great flavor to yogurt and smoothies and does not take a lot to do it. The directions suggest a teaspoon which is the perfect amount. I have been adding it to greek yogurt and it is great. I have never been a huge yogurt fan especially when there is fruit in it because the chunky texture freaks me out. However, this powder adds the flavor of the fruit with out the lumpy soggy fruit. The Acai powder also has the added benefits of antioxidants, omega fats, and essential amino acids without added sugar.I have attached pictures of when I added it to plain greek yogurt. It makes a beautiful speckled blue color and tastes delicious! I added some craisins and almonds to the top of mine. I have been hunting on pinterest and have found tons of other great recipes I cannot wait to try!

Makes great smoothies!
Makes great smoothies!!! I bought this powder because we have a family history of melanoma and I know that Acai is supposed to be an amazing source of antioxidants. I was trying to figure out how to get this "super food" into our family's diet without hearing whining and complaining but as it turns out...smoothies are amazing with this Acai Powder. It also happens to be Non-GMO and pesticide and herbicide free, which is also very important to me. Less important to me...but if you are curious, it is also Gluten-free, Vegan, Kosher, and Halal. Today I whipped up a huge batch of smoothies with 4 berry mix (frozen), vanilla almond milk, 1 container raspberry yogurt, vanilla, honey, and ONLY 2 teaspoons of this Acai powder. They were absolutely DELICIOUS and the family all fought over the last 1/2 cup! This package will last our family of 7 a long time. Highly recommend...especially if you already make smoothies! Easy addition for a great nutritional boost!

Not real acai!!
Picture has this product on the left and real acai from a local health food store on the right. This is not real acai. I don't know what it is. Smells like kool-aid. Real acai smells earthy and isn't granuly. Also this product has over 100 percent daily iron. Nutrition facts from multiple sources say that pure acai has 0 to 2 percent daily value. DO NOT TAKE THIS PRODUCT. IRON OVERDOSE IS A REAL CONCERN.

Tastes ok, fairly gritty like sand
I’m glad It’s healthy for me, tastes ok, use it in a blended fruit drink but it leaves gritty particles like fine sand in my throat. Wish it was grounded finer

Super yummy, so healthy
Not only is this powder super tasty, it's also very healthy! I love the light berry/tropical flavor it has to it.There are so many uses for this, I keep finding more and more everyday. My kids love it! I've been adding it to smoothies, yogurt, banana bread and even on vanilla ice cream. It gives everything a pretty lite purple/lilac tint. The powder is a great consistency too. It's like super finely ground coffee. Melts in your mouth and doesn't leave any large, chunky granules. I love that it's gluten free! It's also vegan. It's a great source of calcium, antioxidants and iron. It's very low in calories per serving, it's the perfect, healthy way to add all these wonderful things into foods you already eat.
