The lid is not a good seal!
For my application, I can only use them if I do a test straight away... If I have a known concentration of magnetic nanoparticles in a solution of chloroform ( N mg/ml) then the chloroform will disappear over a couple of days, with the sample tube upright and the lid firmly on. So not the 'stated' purpose of centrifuging, but a common usage for small sample sizes.

Benutze solche Röhrchen immer zum anmischen von CDL. Durch die spitze Bodenform mischen sich die Flüssigkeiten nicht, es bleibt immer etwas unvermischt in der Spitze hängen.
