Excellent Upgrade For Our Front Door
This set replaces a 20-yr old Kwikset combo in that its doorknob literally self-destructed internally. Operates so smoothly, looks classy, just know that the color (see my included pic) is a bit darker than represented in the Amazon ad...but it's definitely NOT their bronze option. Coming out of the construction industry, I can say that Schlage is definitely the brand I'd recommend. And will buy again for our own use.

Never a break in.
My old Schlage locks lasted over 20 years they were the first things I bought for peace of mind, when I bought my house. Actually only the door knob failed the bolt lock is still good. I will never buy another brand.

Good baseline homeowner lock that's easy to key
The good: Price isn't bad she the color options are good. They have a decently large selection of styles as well. They have a lifetime warranty. Learn how to use it before purchasing. YouTube is your friend here. The bad: Quality control with the finishes needs work. Got 7 combo kits and all 7 had deadbolts with a noticably different sheen yet same color. The finish does not last. Just under 2 years and 2 knobs that receive partial sunlight are oxidized badly. The official keying kits are crazy expensive. Piece your pins and tools together and save yours self several hundreds in locksmith costs and kit expenses. If I had to do it all over I'd probably stick with Schlage but a different finish other than aged bronze. I had to match existing hardware, such is life.

Keys/locks were identical for 2 sets purchased, hope your neighbour doesn’t purchase same product!
If buying for exterior or apartment entrance door, beware, as I purchased 2 sets for apartment entrance doors (block apartment) and the keys/locks were identical! Thank god I checked before installing, otherwise, 2 different tenants in same block apartment would have the same key and lock! No key should be produced identically!
