KINDER'SCarne Asada Seasoning (8.8 Ounce)

I picked up a sample of this at a BBQ festival. I'd never heard of Kinder or their carne asada spice blend mix. I followed the instructions, mixed the blend with a bit of olive oil, rubbed it all over boneless chicken thighs and set it to marinate for a few hours in the refrigerator. I grill exclusively on charcoal. The spice blend, mixed with the wood smoke of the grill gave me a flavor I've been searching for for years! The sliced chicken went into chicken fajitas (rave reviews) and I sprinkled a bit on the grilled peppers and onions.Most seasoning blends have too much salt to my taste. (I'm looking at you creole seasoning manufacturers). This blend is just right and, for some dishes, slightly under salted, which is a good thing since you want to be able to add more flavor without adding too much salt, or add more salt to balance it all out. The blend magicians at Kinder have figured this out.I've tried the blend with brisket, whole chicken and, yes, a whole turkey brined and spit roasted over the grill. If this stuff were any better, you'd need a prescription. Yes, I've used carne asada seasoning on all kinds of nontraditional proteins. Just try it, or get yourself to Oaxaca for the real thing.

I've tried other carne asada seasonings and been frustrated because they don't taste as good as this one. I'm incredibly annoyed that I can't buy this in the store, but it is totally worth it. My family loves it and it is amazing.

Ive got over 30 bottles of seasoning in my cabinet.Used this one this weekend for fathers day carne asada tacos. Seasoned skirt steak day before and refrigerated. It was delicious. Lots of flavor. I went pretty heavy on it too.Look forward to trying this on chicken and pork.

I found this at sams club. Absolutely love it! Citrus flavor with a touch of heat.

One seal was a bit opened on one of the bottle but it was a ok deal
