Several reviewers have suggested that this candle is overpriced, but I'd like to offer a counterpoint: no it isn't.Now don't get me wrong, I'm such a cheapskate that the moths in my wallet have evolved an advanced society in my absence. They're planning their first moon mission next month. They've invented Tang. The idea of spending more than $20 on a candle makes me squirm because that's enough for a great night in the pub instead of, y'know, sitting at home with a nice smell.The thing is, though, I've tried half a dozen candles from Esna Home over the past year or so, and they're just sooooooo damn good. I've not had a dud yet. Esna Home is far and away my favourite brand of scented candle (and as an aside, the fact that I have a favourite brand is utterly depressing, and a clear sign that I'm on the 'my back hurts' ​side of 40).If you're not the kind of person who would typically spend a significant sum on a scented candle and you're tempted to try, this is the brand to pull the trigger on. You can't miss. They just don't make a bad candle.

It smelled nice in the box but there is almost no scent when the candle is lit. Worse than the cheaper candles.

Wtf! The wick to my candle was never threaded through? I never bought a candle and it didn't have a darnwick . Please replace my candle . This is NOT fair. I will update if I get a response tocomplaint. I enclosed 3 pictures to show.Update.I contacted company and had a very quick response.They were so apologetic and willing to fix the problem .My replacement candle was here in two days and it was perfect.The candle arrives in theirsignature candle box. It's very nice and gift able. My candle burns evenly and scent is really nice and fills the room.I certainly give this review a 5 star rating.Customer service was superb.They replaced my candle no problem. I was apologized too few times for my inconvenience.They did not inconvenience me further by requesting I ship back damaged candle.I wish more companies had good customer service as ESNA HOME.Thank you so much. I am enjoying my beautiful candle very much.

I thought the Berries and Roses scent because the white tea scent seems to never be in stock. I think it smells really nice, but I don't know that this scent will be for everyone. After I purchased, I let my sister smell it and she wasn't a fan. But it is a nice quality candle for sure, and burns nicely. I will definitely keep purchasing from this brand.

For the price and ratings I thought the zen candle was going to be great. It barely has any smell to it. I bought it for my office and was really disappointed for the price point.

Candles are one of those funny things: we pretty much all love them, but most of us are reluctant to buy nice ones for ourselves. That's why they make such good gifts for so many people!This candle is exquisite. It comes beautifully packaged, as in you could really get away with just putting a bow on top of the box. It looks expensive! The candle itself is in an opaque white glass jar (it just barely lets light pass through). The label is a simple embossed blue panel that, again, looks expensive. I chose the Mount Fuji fragrance. It's very unusual, and I can't readily discern the notes of the fragrance. Maybe a faint hint of citrus (yuzu?) and cedar. It's blended well, and it light and fresh - not heavy at all.This would seriously make a fantastic gift or addition to a gift basket for anyone.

I LOVE the smell of tobacco and leather.So, it would've been nice if this candle smelled anything remotely close to those things. Unfortunately, it doesn't and that's why I cannot recommend it.What does it smell like? Hmmm. That's a tough one. I sat for about 15 minutes one evening trying to come up with a name for this scent so I could describe it in this review, and I just can't. It's somewhat familiar, so I know it seems odd that I can't describe it, but it's not so easy. One thing I will say is that I notice hints of lavender. Yes, lavender in a tobacco-scented candle. Not even close. It also just has a kind of chemical burn smell, if that makes any sense. And the thing is, it's a pretty strong scent.If this were anything close to smelling like tobacco or leather, I would probably be in love with this candle. As it stand, it's a huge letdown for me. Other than the scent, it burns well, and seems to have a lot of longevity. I've burned it for about six hours and the wax has hardly moved.Overall, there is really nothing else wrong this candle, aside from the scent, so I'm giving it 3 stars (which is actually above average, right?). It burns well, comes packaged nicely and seems like it will last a fairly long time. I just wish it smell close to what it's supposed to smell like: tobacco and leather. Sorry, it's a big "nah" for me, bruh.

The media could not be loaded. This Esna candle is delicious; now I am obsessed with Esna and particularly Fresh Cut Roses and Berries! The scent is absolutely beautiful, and has gotten me back into candles. I love that they’re vegan, and can’t wait to try the next one! I can’t recommend this brand more.
