Shadow Rule: 3 (Shattered Kingdom)

I felt this book series has really begun to enthrall me. Not that the first two didn’t but the different storylines have spread out across different lands, introduced new characters and concepts, all aligned with the threat of the Shygon cult and the longest slow burn relationship between the protagonists I have ever read!!I’m greatly enjoying this series, it’s fantasy, well written, a twisting and turning plot and likeable characters. I’ve enjoyed the various perspectives within their own storyline and am eager to get on with the fourth book!

I was looking for something as good as the Sarah J Mass series, Throne of Glass and this did not disappoint. The characters are so relatable and the story sucked me right in. I felt like laughing, crying, shouting, cringing and basically everything else the main characters felt. I cannot wait for the next book and although part of me hopes it is the last, just to find out if they do it they don't ( read and you will find out what I mean) the other part of me can't wait to keep the journey going.I read these through kindle unlimited but will definitely be purchasing the paperback versions so I can call them my very own!So if you want a story with amazing characters, slow burn romance and lots of fighting and action I would say this should be you've next series to read. Start with Shattered Kingdom and I hope you enjoy the ride.

I have read all 3 books in less than a week. They are full of emotion and adventure. Looking forward to the next book. A writer worth following.

I am so in love with this series!!! Book three took that up another notch. The character and world building is beautiful and multilayered. The descriptions are detailed and evocative, drawing you into the world Angelina J. Steffort seems to create with ease. I can't wait to see what happens next for Gandrett and the other characters in this book. They feel so real!!!
