Dropping Acid

There are thousands of books about LSD, covering the drug from very possible angle. Bewan's Dropping Acid isn't doesn't offer any radical insights into the drug but what it does do in a clear, sinmple and methodical way is talk you through the very basic of LSD use. This aspect is often glossed over in other books on LSD or it is just assumed everyone knows. Had I read this when I was 16 it would have told me things I only later came to learn through (sometimes bitter) experience. It would be an excellent book, for instance, for someone contemplating taking LSD for the first time, a student doing a project on LSD or something to give a worried parent. It does make the mistake of dwelling too much on the American experience of LSD when in fact the UK has an equally rich tradition of LSD use.
