Too much repetition
This book repeats over and over all the reasons to try a yogurt/kefir type of drink and littleelse. I havent tried it yet but I might. All this information is available on the interweb on his videos/webpage.Not good value for me.

Breaking new ground
The information in this book is new to me and I feel I have read a lot over the years. Just like doctors, we tend to treat symptoms without really knowing the cause. The author points to a large amount of disorders which he says can be traced back to gut microbiome issues. Many of these issues my family and I have had to deal with over generations. I am just starting his protocol and look forward to seeing what results come of it. If he is correct I will be buying this book for many friends and family!Doctors and scientists don't always make the best authors, the beginning of this book is annoying in its repetition as though he restarted the book 8 times. It really would have been improved if a top editor had had the chance to go over it. However, repetitions aside, you will find the information very interesting indeed.

Great Book on Getting Your Gut Health Back!
This is half personal testimony, half book review. So glad I picked up this book. I did keto/carnivore for two years to drop some weight, but was finding I had trouble regulating cravings for certain foods, plus had persistent sleep issues that would not go away. Weight loss stalled also, and my mood was not at all good. Suspected a gut issue, since I was doing everything else right.Dr. Davis’ book presents a long list of issues that folks might have with their guts, even if they eat well. It is well written and is a quick read. Others do a better job describing the book so I’ll skip.I started following the protocols outlined in the book. Week 1, started taking cucurmin oil and making l reuteri probiotic yogurt. After one week, my sleep issues are resolving, food cravings are gone, my appetite seems to be regulating itself, and my excess weight is starting to come off again. Generally, my mood is improving as well. Your’e results, of course, may vary.I’m completely sold on the book and the recipes. Thank you, Dr. Davis for writing it!

Groundbreaking and Accessible Information
Trip to Maui. Got "the book" one day before boarding the plane. The most well written, clear, concise, understandable "get healthy" (or gut healthy) book I've ever read. I'm beyond excited to further improve my health with what I'm learning. Thanks for sharing, Dr. Davis.
