The engraving turned out very nicely---the pendant bars are smaller than expected, but the end result is still pretty. (Sorry for the terrible photos, but this is a gift for someone special and I didn't want to take it out of the protective packaging and start handing it.)I chose to do mine in all lower case, because I think that looks modern and fresh. None of my letters were hanging "descenders" though, (g, j, q, p, y) which helps a lot, because otherwise it looks a little wonky to me. If you do have "descenders" in your chosen name (g,j,q,p,y) I recommend doing your pendant in all capitals instead, unless you don't mind that wonky up-down-up-down look.Both pendant bars are stamped sterling silver on the rear, FYI. I like this necklace so much I may order one or two more.

I love the quality! The customization is great. The reviews have some bad experiences with the chain... so I ordered an additional one that was 15" instead of the 18" that comes with these charms.Whenever it came in, it was in a cute jewelry box with a bow, neatly packed. The chain was way better than I had expected! Absolutely nothing wrong with the quality (which I know I am hard on jewelry...) I switched the charms to the 15" (I wear another necklace gifted from my grandmother that is 18" and didn't want overlap.)My mom stopped by to visit and I was able to give her the solid 18" chain! We were both happy!

Love, love, love this necklace. I purchased this in sterling silver with two words in lower-case font. It looks exactly like the picture shows so make sure you like the font you chose. It's super unique, reasonably priced, one of a kind and none of my friends have anything like it! It came in a nice box and was delivered on time. You can't go wrong with this gem. If you're contemplating this item, the answer is YES. Do it! It would make a terrific gift!!
