Rubber Conductive Button Pad + 2.5mm Tri-Wing/Cross Screwdriver + Internal Frame Holder Replacement Parts for Sony Playstation 4 Controller Gamepad

I ordered these mainly for the shoulder buttons and have only used those and the d-pad/ action button replacements. Let me first say that the D and action parts seem to be working fine. I installed those only because I was there and the old ones were discolored. As for the shoulder replacements, if you're ordering for those them don't bother. L2 and R2 are analog because the black piece that comes into contact with the circuit is rounded on a factory piece. These have a flat contact so they become nearly useless on most games. Needless to say I have since put the old parts back in because I would rather have it be difficult to" fully" engage the button rather than not be able to make contact at all until it's fully depressed.

Replaced conductive film and the conductive silicone pads to correct misfires on my PS4 controller with R2 trigger pulls while playing Call of Duty: WW2. The rubber pads I bought seem to be just a tad bit shorter than the ones already in controller. All other purchased rubber pads worked from this seller except the pads that control R2 and L2. I put old pads back in but swapped them so I can still fire my guns. I have included a picture of the worn pads to show what a warn pad looks like that causes the misfires. The trigger button will where a line into the pad. I filled one with silicone but did not help any. I only bought these kits to fix the R2 but was unsuccessful.

While these rubber conductive pads do have a similar shape, they do not feel like OEM pieces at all or function properly in some cases. The rubber pads for the R1/R2 and L1/L2 uses a generic conductive pad (the small circular black sections) which don't allow those trigger buttons to function at 100% input. Those same generic pads also make the cross/square/triangle/circle and directional arrow buttons feel loose and require you to press harder. Wouldn't recommend for people looking for a quick fix.

It worked as a replacement for the original part. But the design is flawed - the button gets stuck and does not return to the original position immediately. Not happy with this product.

Everything is performed excellently except the replacement left and right trigger pads which were not compatible with my second generation controller. It seems to be difficult to order the correct set of trigger pads.I still feel it was a very good value and would buy from this company again.

Parts are working as intended inside of a 3rd Generation PS4 controller. I was worried for a moment about them not fitting, but applying pressure to the small holes did the trick. Buttons are responsive and snap back into neutral as they should. Definitely worth the price if you need to switch out a single rubber or all of them. However there's one issue with the rubber that I had. They're slightly thicker than the original rubbers inside the controller. I changed the D-pad and button rubbers out for these and my touch pad no longer had the feedback click. This seems to be an exclusive issue for my own controller but I felt I should mention this anyway.

The fit was good, but after putting the controller together the plastics are not as sturdy as new parts should. No complaints after a few weeks of use.

I bought 1 set since the d-pad rubber on my DS4 was torn after months of heavy use.I can't speak for the other replacement rubbers, but the quality in atleast the D-pad rubber is not nearly the same as the ones that come stock in a DS4.Directionals "feel" softer/mushier, but require more force for the input. There's barely a click when pressing a direction(very much lacking a "responsive" feel), and I suspect it's because the material is less flexible than the original. Overall, there's noticeably less "feedback" from the controller to the player which may affect your gameplay. Just from the feel, I don't expect this new d-pad rubber to last half the time the default ones did.If you want to fix your PS4 controller quickly, and the feel of the buttons don't matter so much, and are more of a casual player, this is completely fine.But if you are a more serious player, and want to bring your controller back to "new/almost new" condition, I would avoid these rubber replacements. Again, my review is really only for the d-pad rubber replacement.

Statt 50€ für einen neuen DS4 auszugeben, habe ich mich für dieses Reparaturkit entschieden. Mein Controller hatte ein Problem mit der "Unten"-Taste auf dem Steuerkreuz, ein Kontakt hatte sich von dem originalen Silikon abgelöst. Ich war erst skeptisch wegen der negativen Bewertungen, entschied mich dann aber dafür es einfach auszuprobieren.Nach kurzer Lieferzeit kam das Kit gut verpackt an und ich konnte loslegen. Der DS4 war schnell geöffnet und das Problem identifiziert. Das Ersatzteil hatte zwar eine andere Form als das Original, passte aber trotzdem in die vorgefertigte Halterung. Ich musste teilweise mit einer Pinzette arbeiten, weil die Controller offenbar nicht darauf ausgelegt sind, repariert zu werden. Nach einiger Fummelei war ich mit dem Gesamtergebnis sehr zufrieden.Bis auf die Steuerkreuzkontakte musste ich bisher keine Teile austauschen, kann also zu diesen keine Wertung abgeben.

Alright, these sort of work, but I had to do some trimming to make they fit, as there is no way in hell they were going in there (too thick and too large). After replacing the pads, my R2 button still needed to be pressed super hard to get to 100%, so it didn't really fix the problem. However, I cut out a small piece of the cardboard box they came in and inserted it UNDER the circuit and the silicone pad. It's been a few months, and everything has been fine so far. So do these work? Yes, be be prepared to do some work!

I am glad they even exist for little money, my original rubber tore which means the button would stay stuck. The buttons feel new, the old ones became too soft and mushy and I could tell X was way softer before because the pad deteriorated over time. Now all buttons feel the same, no extra effort or anything.

Gekauft habe ich dieses Produkt, da die R2 Taste an meinen PS4 Controller nur noch 80% erreichte, was auf einen abgenutzten Gummi zurückzuführen war. Das Set kam schnell und gut verpackt an. Da ich den Controller auseinander gebaut hatte, habe ich alle Gummis gewechselt. Anschließend überprüfte ich die Funktion des Controllers und die L2 und R2 Tasten erreichten beide nur noch ca. 30-60%. Aso wieder alles zurück und ich hatte wieder 100 und 80%. Problem ist, das die gelieferten Gummis keinen ausreichenden Kontakt zur Platine bekommen, wenn man die Taste drückt. Es ist kein Originalteil. Also habe ich Klebeband auf die alten Gummis geklebt und es funktioniert wieder. Zu den anderen mitgelieferten Gummis: Die Tasten (Pfeil sowie X/O/Dreieck/Viereck) fühlen sich stabiler an und fu ktionieren einwandfrei.
