I think It is a quality item, but time will tell, also a little too pricey. But to save on excessive plumbing cost, this is an easy item to install, once the old one is removed.

This drain style is what was originaly installed in our house back in the late 80’s. The stopper was missing on one tub and i tried buying a universal replacment only to find out the center pin in these is not threaded in. Instead of trying to remove the whole thing which appears to be perminetly threaded in with some silicon used like lock tight. I bought this and only used the stopper which has a screw in it that attaches it to the pin. Perfect fit.
