Good for Voice
Very much enjoying the sound quality of this mic. Appreciate that the necessary cable came with it. It seems sturdy and easy to use; not even an on-off switch to worry about. Plug and play, mostly (I’m using it with Audacity and I did find I had to sometimes click <Transport, Rescan Devices> to get it to read it fully.) I appreciate the good price compared to other mics.

My favorite vocal mic.
I replaced an old SM58 a few years ago with a different mic, and have never been pleased with its performance. I recently purchased a new SM58 and am glad to have my favorite mic back! This mic has a nice heft to it - it has a nice weight in the hand. The signal is clear and strong, and the cardioid pattern really gives me a lot of good mic dynamics to work with. This is the original "whisper to a scream" mic - with good sensitivity whether I'm right on it singing at a whisper, or a few feet back belting it out. I find I don't need to use much EQ on my mixer - the SM58 picks up the full spectrum of frequencies easily, and the volume before feedback level is very high compared to other mics on the market. This one came with a convenient pouch, a mic stand clip and an XLR cable.

Sounds great
My avant-metal band has used this recently to record screaming vocals, and the recording quality sounds great! Also, it's a great buy for the price.

Beware
Buyer beware !!!!! The XLR cable pictured is not the one I received. The one I received is very cheap and flimsy. Might, again might, last a few months. The mic is great, but I should have went ahead and bought the XLR cable separately. Stay away from bundle deals.
