Great toy and nice book although didn’t realise it used American words such as diapers instead of knickers. I liked the concept but was so upset I got sent the wrong doll I ordered the boy but got the girl (awkward explanation with the detailed genitalia to my 3 year old ensued). Good quality and nice idea to make potty training fun.

Cute I guess but was hoping for a miracle from the reviews. My daughter at 3 1/2, scared of going on potty and stubborn about trying; rather not trying. Was hoping this would help but it honestly didn’t in the least. I know it works for some ppl and not saying it’s horrible but I didn’t see any reviews where ppl said it didn’t work for their kids, so just so you have real expectations I wanted to leave a review for the other side of it. Bc it did nothing to encourage her to go. Tried all the suggestions in the parenting book as well as everything else I have read. Ended up kind of forcing her; like everyone says not to. The first week was rough, very rough, I may have cried more then her, having her at 3 and a two year old boy and a one year old boy, it was stressful but I just kept making her go on the potty and the second week was easier, less fighting me, by week 3 she was happy to go but still nervous about number two, week 4 is here and since week two we have only had one accident and maybe wet at night once a week but wear a pull up every night in case. Now I wish I wouldn’t have listened to everyone when she was 2 1/2 when they kept saying she will go when she is ready. I feel like if I would’ve pushed her past her fear sooner it would’ve been easier on all of us. Hope this review helps someone.

My two year old niece had gotten to the point of letting everyone know when she was going to the potty, but would refuse to use the toilet or her potty training toilet. For some reason she was afraid to sit on her potty training toilet or the standard toilet. My sister had tried a lot of things and was becoming very frustrated. A friend told me about this product and so I ordered I one for us to try.We were very impressed. Everything looked exactly like it was pictured and the Katie doll was super cute and soft and it’s my niece’s favorite doll now. Anyway, the toy potty was perfect because my niece got to role play with the doll by putting her on the potty herself and pretending the doll was peeing.After playing with it for a few hours the first day, my niece agreed to try and sit on her potty training toilet. Although she was still a little scared and she didn’t go in the toilet that night, she at least got up on the toilet!The next morning she woke up and wanted to play with her new doll and by lunch SHE ASKED TO USE HER OWN POTTY!! She loved the reward cards with the surprise activities. My sister and I are thrilled with the results. Literally the third she wanted to try the “big girl toilet” (the standard toilet).This was money well spent on a tired momma and her toddler.

This kit was a godsend for us as first-time parents! The handbook was incredibly helpful in training my two-year-old when she was starting potty-training. Even though she might not have understood the activities in the reward cards, she really enjoyed just getting a card and sliding it into the little slot in the toy toilet. She's now three and while we don't use the activity cards anymore, she still enjoys reading the boardbook and her tot is by far her favorite toy! We would have been so lost without Tot On The Pot!!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to use Tot on the Pot. We received our Tot and named her Sally out of the box. The cards and rewards are fun and interactive, and the responses and service we've received to help with our questions or offer additional tools and tricks to help have been very welcome! We love our Sally and she's got a permanent potty spot right by our potty, so our daughter brings and uses Sally, and integrates her into her stuffed animal friends. While we still aren't fully integrated and trained, we know that each tot has their own schedule for learning and appreciate this tool to help and plan to pick one up for our son when he starts to learn about potty training.
