Really very easy to set up. I simply followed the step by step instructions - downloaded the app and IMPORTANT pressed and held the RESET button on the machine and my phone recognised the feeder - no fiddling about with WiFi bandwidth as many reviews mentioned. These other reviews almost put me off buying this model, so I'm making a point to mention this!I set the times and portions for future feeding and then tried out the immediate feed option and it worked straight away. Can be manually overridden with button on front of machine if required also. I use a mix of Purina 11+ and Whiskas biscuits with the tasty pockets-no bother with size of biscuits. 1xportion size per feed is perfect for my 4kg cat. I'd suggest 2xportion size at a time for a bigger cat. It's very sturdy and won't tip over and the lid locks on both sides and has to be manually removed, so no bother with break ins! I have experimented with the quantity the holder can take and it would feed my cat easily for 6 weeks if I filled it - so never a worry about running low. You have to buy back up batteries (approx £4 a pack on Amazon) as doesn't come with machine, but only necessary if you're not using plug or worried about power cut-will work without them. Been using feeder a month now worry free. Very happy cat and owner.

I absolutely love this automatic pet feeder, it's a game changer, no more early mornings being woken up by my cat being hungry, I've set it for a morning feed every morning, (this only takes dry food though) if I am out I can remotely get the feeder to feed my cat, as long as you have internet or WiFi. you can set the portion sizes, how many times you want the feeder to dispense food, it was very easy to set up, just download the app, I really wasn't sure before I brought this how well it would work, but I've had this for 6 months now and it's brilliant. Love it so does my Cat 🐈

Fantastic product and easy to use once set up.The set up is not straight forward and thr instructions are missing steps.

I’ve been using for over one year and never had any trouble with it. The only it could have is an alarm or something of when the food is low; would be a nice feature. I still recommend it!

Very impressed!Have a highly food motivated cat, who broke some simpler feeders within minutes.She tried - and can stick her (small) paw into opening. This feeder is unbreakable.She even pushed the feeder onto it’s side. The feeder still dispensed lying on it’s side- very impressed!The lid is secure and cannot be opened by pet.Occasionally she managed to get some extra kibble (not many) by pushing her paw in, but not enough to keep her trying every day.She is now used to the timings it dispenses and leaves it alone.Very easy to set up.Portion size is small - even for my 4kg cat- but easily solved by choosing 2 portions on feeding plan.

Useful with setting up portion size and schedule for my cat. Also proved to be cat-proof as he's managed to knock it over a few times and still didn't manage to open but it kept dispensing on schedule.Can feed ad-hoc portion on demand when away from home.

I bought the feeder for my cat Ruby so that we can have a regular feeding pattern for her. It works really well and so easy to set up. I have set it for a morning and evening feed on 3 portion size for each. The portion sizes are quite small but you can set it to the number of portions you want each time to make sure your pet gets the right amount. There is no camera from what I can see and it is basic but it does the job, I’m impressed with it and would definitely recommend.

I had to weigh out the portion sizes into how many grams was in each as our cat is on measured amounts. Once you figure that out it’s simple and easy to use! Perfect for timed feeds especially when we are out for the day. Would recommend
