Dunwell Comic Book Storage Album, 6 Sleeves, Acid-Free Binder

I recently picked up several of these Dunwell Comic Book Storage Albums for my growing comic collection, and they've exceeded my expectations. I collect comics primarily for their artwork rather than specific characters or storylines, focusing mostly on Gold, Silver, and Bronze Age issues. These albums have proven to be an excellent way to organize and enjoy them. Each binder comfortably holds about a dozen comics, and the customizable front cover, back cover, and spine are a fantastic feature, making it easy to organize and identify each volume on the shelf. Unlike traditional comic boxes, these albums let you pull a binder off the shelf and flip through your collection like a coffee-table art book—all while keeping your comics protected. Pair them with quality comic bags and boards, and your books stay secure and in great condition. If you're looking for an attractive, practical, and easy-to-use way to store and enjoy your comic collection, these albums are an outstanding choice. Highly recommended!

I love these! I mean, it’s not feasible to store an entire collection using these, but they are great for a series or your faves. Also not sure about long term durability, but placing two comics in each sleeve (per the manufacturer’s suggestion) does seem to keep them secure and flat. Because the comics are back-to-back, there’s not likely to be spine roll, which you see even in long boxes with bagged and boarded comics. So, I’m not afraid to keep keys in there. I’m currently storing 1st print Secret Wars, including #8. I’ll update this review in a few years and let you know if they are all still good.

It’ll do. Hard to tell from description what you are actually getting. I thought it was going to be rigid like a 3 ring binder but is a flimsy plastic cover. It’ll still work for what I need and I was able to shore up the front cover a bit since it had a pocket (place a thin piece of cardboard in it)

I collect first edition comic books. I wanted to purchase something that I could keep comics in that would protect them while still giving me easy access to the comic books when I want to show them to someone and they could flip through a book but without risking bending the comic books. These books accomplished all of the above. They are sturdy. Well made. I accidentally spilled water on one of the books and none of the spill made it through to any of the comic books. I was able to quickly clean the water off and all of my books stayed protected.

The albums came in fast and exactly what they are shown, fits 12 comics, even comics that are sealed and cardboard slabbed My only 2 complaint is that the pockets are single pockets, wished they were a pocket in front and pocket in back not just a single opening and that I wish there was a way to close the top so comics don't slide out but other than that they are perfect if you don't want a lot of bulky boxes

The build quality could be better. It’s perfectly serviceable, but there are better options in this price range.

These work so much better than I was expecting. I ordered two to test them out and they were able to fit twelve comics in each without a problem, with bags and boards included. I even squeezed a couple oversized (thicker) issues into one of the albums. I love the cover inserts so I can write down which comics are in each album, so I can tell at a glance where everything is. Very happy with my purchase, definitely ordering a bunch more of these!

Went looking for a good storage binder for some of my old comics and found this product. Wasn’t sure at first of course, but after loading all the sleeves up- one couldn’t go wrong. Product is of heavier outside plastic panels and spine for protection. Inner sleeves are durable and will hold (2) comics that are boarded and sleeved as well. I filled this binder w/ 12 comics as advertised. 2 comics per inner sleeve. Additionally, I had doubles of one comic and that even fitted into one sleeve w/ 3 comics. Outer panel (front) is customizable to Word.dox a decorative advisement like in one of my pics to illustrate what is inside as well. I feel any collector will appreciate this product to store and admire their own comics for years to come!

As many have stated these are BRILLIANT. Ive been able to get 13 issues in each binder (1 as the front cover) and each issue is bagged and boarded but still allows you to store safely. Used mine to store my variant and limited editions. Very happy and would buy again

L'idée est pas mal en soit, mais ce produit est loin d'être sans défaut. Pour commencer, la couverture souple, décevant, une couverture rigide aurait été un plus. Ensuite, les pages. Alors les comics rentrent parfaitement dedans, 2 par pages (recto/verso), avec sleeve et board. Cependant, il "nagent" beaucoup dans les feuillet. Des pages plus petites aurait évité qu'ils se baladent. Et puis ils tiennent vraiment pas en place, une ouverture sur le coté, comme les classeurs de TCG aurait été parfait ! Et puis 12 comics par classeurs, je trouve que ça fait juste. En soit, le classeur est idéal pour transporter des comics lors de convention, etc..., il offre quand même une certaine facilité de transport, sont facile a sortir lors de dédicace, etc .... Bref, vous pouvez passer votre chemin si vous n'en n'avez une extrême utilité.

Cheap quality. Hence the cheap price. Basically a plastic duo tang.
