Works as advertised... so far
I installed the material to replace a patio door screen ruined by my cat. The process was pretty smooth. This screen material is thick, but not so thick that the typical spline and roll process won't work. It's been about two weeks, and the cat has given the new screen a few pulls a day. Still no rips or breaks.

Great replacement screen - heavy duty
We bought this as a replacement for our windows as last fall the grasshoppers ate large holes in every screen on our house - it is very sturdy and nice looking screen - I highly recommend screen that comes in a roll and NOT folded - far easier when you don’t have deep creases and wrinkles in it to start with - I would also recommend getting the correct spline size - with this material being substantially thicker it can be difficult to put the spline in with this extra thick screen- they make a slightly thinner spline to accommodate this screen material- it has lasted well through an Iowa spring and summer- it washes well and looks professional- just look on you tube for some videos with pointers and buy a proper installation kit - available very reasonably priced on Amazon - it truly makes all the difference in the world - I can’t speak to it being pet proof or resistant- as I just wanted a heavier durable screen - watch a few videos and have the right tools and it is a do it yourself project-

Truly Works!
I'd just finished replacing one screen door as my cat Obi-Wan had destroyed the last one which was metal screening. Obi is nine months old, weighs ten pounds, and loves to climb up the screen door in his mad rushes about the house. As soon as I finished, he took a flying leap and clawed his way up, as you can see in the picture below. He hung there for a few seconds before clawing his way down. I rushed to check the newly installed screen fabric, expecting to see tears or at least, distortion in the mess. To my surprise, the meshing was without a blemish, intact. Imagine my surprise! This is the first screen fabric I've found that holds up to my Obi-Wan. I don't know if it will hold up to a heavier cat, but time will tell. I am very happy I spent the money. It will take time to get used to the "black" color, as it does filter out light and looks quite different from the old one.

Pleasantly surprised!!
I was very skeptical when ordering this, but I thought I would give it a try. Our cat had destroyed our last screen and I had been taping it for the last few years, I finally decided it was time to replace it but I wanted to find something that the cat couldn't destroy. In my research I found this screen. My husband and I installed it, it wasn't super easy but not extremely difficult either. The same day we installed it, on que the cat tried to climb it, it held and didn't break. The next day my brother's 80lb puppy came over and walked in to it and scratched it, and it held. We had children over, they were leaning against it and it held. To top it all off, we recently just adopted a puppy, I knew this would be the ultimate test. He had walked into it, jumped on it, scratched it, dug at it, and it is still in perfect condition. It has excellent air flow and I am very pleased with my purchase. I would definitely purchase again and would recommend to anyone. Definitely worth it.

Definitely works
I have 4 pretty big cats who like to climb the screen & I can say that this stuff works. I put it on a year ago & it's still in good shape. And they climb it almost daily.I do have to replace it but that's because my 70lb Labrador busted through it at the bottom where I hadn't done the best job of splicing it in.That is the trickiest part because it's thick, so take your time & really press it in deeply.
