I am using these on a laptop I have placed in a tight rack or shelf. This connector allows me to run the hdmi upwards. Wouldn’t fit the normal way. Did this for power as well.

Cable Matters always has quality products. These are really good and really compact angled up and down HDMI adapters. It does what it's designed to do and does still give me 4K. A must have if you need to fit your HDMI cable in a tight space. Comes with two adapters one up and one down.

With a new wall-mounted flat screen TV with three HDMI inputs (two inputs, one eArc output) I wanted to run all of the HDMI cords behind the wall. I used a single 3-port HDMI wall plate behind the TV and a 3-gang wall plate with a 3-port insert behind our entertainment center. The wall I mounted the TV onto was on an outside wall. The insulation was packed right against the drywall, so ordinary HDMI cord connections would have been a little too deep to use. My original thought was to use three of these on the backside of the 3-port wall plates, however, these were too wide to use two of these 90 degree adapters next to each other with the two different HDMI 3-port wall plates I was using. The HDMI ports I was using had the ports tilted at a 45 degree angle. We had to buy adapters that bend 90 degrees flat (the other 90 degree bending ones) on the center port to clear the other HDMI cables behind the wall ports. However even that proved to be a bit of a problem because you can't connect that contraption and fit it behind a single width wall plate hole. We ended up not using the 90 degree adapter on one of our single 3-port wall plates and just plugged an HDMI cord directly into it. Pushing on the insulation was the lesser of two evils. I wasn't going to cut a larger hole into the drywall just to have to repair it later. I wouldn't knock this product a review point for the size problems when using on a 3-port wall plate. But if you are planning on a similar project, just know that you might have better luck with the other shaped 90 degree adapters, or if you mount your TV on an interior wall, you may not even need to use these behind the wall. These work great. For some reason, one of the HDMI ports on the back of our flat screen TV goes straight out to the wall. With a normal HDMI cable, it wouldn't have fit, but using one of the "spare" adapters, it solved the problem. They seem to be HDMI 2.1 compatible.

These are great. We use them for travel to connect things to hotel TVs in odd spots. No loss in quality tho hotel TVs aren’t always the best. I don’t really push them to see any quality loss. For my use case these are great.

This works well for my application a desktop HDMI switch so it can stay flush against the rear of my desk instead of having stiff cables running out the back of it making the unit unbalanced but I did not realize the adapters were different from each other, for my reason of use I'd have to order four of these $8 sets to get the four correct orientation adapters for my need. Passes 4K120 HDR no issues.

My mouse being on the same side of my laptop than my HDMI port, I needed an adapter to be able to remove the HDMI cable that was on the way, blocking my mouse's movements. This set provided a great way to do remedy to this issue. There are two adapter in the package, which have two different 90° angle: One that will bend up, and one that will bend down. So, they are not the same. I used the one with a bend up, which was exactly what I was looking for, and saved the other one for a future use on something else when needed.

They work and make my HDMI cable fit in a tight spot.

My projector plug-ins when facing up is a tight space,this extension is perfect

It does exactly what its needed for and has no issues, good quality, simple. It is a little pricey
