Q: Would this match a satin faucet, or brushed nickel?!

Yes, it’s not the shiny chrome, it’s a brushed finish.

Q: Title says brushed nickel but material listed as stainless steel...which is it?

The color is brushed nickel. Matched my existing brushed nickel faucet perfectly. Works great. I used to have the common type of soap dispenser that the refill bottle screws into the base under the sink, this if much easier to keep filled. Works great.

Q: Does pump go down smoothly & easily as when you pump lotion? I don't want to have to push too hard, & want to easily control quantity coming out.

Yes it is smooth and allow just a small amount with little push

Yes, there’s check valve that keep the soap from draining back.
