MageneH603 Chest Strap Heart Rate Monitor, ANT+ and Bluetooth Compatible with Fully Adjustable Strap, iPhone & Android Compatible

I was about to pull the trigger on a wahoo heart rate monitor that was 2-3x the price but thankfully was turned on to Magene by some cycling friends of mine. I bought it and absolutely love it. It stays secure around the chest, is extremely accurate and I love that the band is washable. It was easy to sync to my Wahoo element computer and I've had zero problems with it. Would recommend!

Strap and unit are very comfortable to wear. At 5'9" & 220lbs, I don't even notice it on me when I'm riding my bike.Zero signs of corrosion on the metal contact points after a few weeks of daily use. It gets a fresh water rinse after every use.Accuracy seems spot on with my athletic watch and the battery still shows 100% after 3 weeks.Paired with my bike computer, phone and indoor trainer. No drop offs to report.At half the price of other make brands, this unit is an absolute steal imo.

*Original review below. Lowered to 1 start because it is now transmitting incorrect HR Values. Double and triple what it real/actual. I tried cleaning, changing batteries, nothing. I emailed Magene - but no response (yet). Also, I see this is under 12 month warranty - BUT, you have to pay for shipping charges...TO CHINA!!!! So, I'm out $35. I guess I will try Garmin next. Maybe the premium price will get me a decent product.I got this because I had a prior version and also my Wahoo Tickr just refused to pair up with my Wahoo bike computer. This thing pairs up immediately and is super accurate. REALLY happy with it. Have the prior version which, 5 years later, still works fine, but I like this snap on strap, which is a copy of the Wahoo, which make it much easier to get on and off instead of that little hook. I also have Magene sensors on my bike - very happy with the quality of their products.

I have gone through 3 wahoo heart monitors. Thought it was time for a change.The monitor immediately sync to my wahoo Bolt. Very pleased at 1/3 price.

Overall the heart rate monitor transmitter works as expected. My one comment is that the plastic ends on the strap where the snaps are have the exact profile of the central transmitter so there isn't much of a lip to get leverage on when removing. You have to get a fingernail in between the two pieces or use the elastic of the strap to unsnap the transmitter.

Received the HRM yesterday. Did not work out of the box. Unfortunately, it came with a dead battery. Replaced it and it worked fine. Had an issue pairing with my Apple watch. Googled the problem and had to turn off then on Airplane Mode. After that it paired right away. Used it this morning and it registered my HR while walking.

UPDATE: it stopped working. my bike computer no longer receives data. i've ordered a replacement ... we'll see. downgrading rating to 2 stars.i bought a different brand, which didn't work out of the box. luckily the magene's worked flawlessly. easily paired to my wahoo bolt bike computer. it sends (what i think) is accurate data ... i compared it to what my apple watch was reporting ... i think they were off by about 1bpm. i can live with that. comfy chest band too .. easy to snap on and off!

After the first handful of rides with the unit the sensor seems reliable and accurate, compared to other units, and it starts up and pairs very quickly. However the strap design seems quite poor and the tension slips both during and between rides. I've had to tighten it multiple times during longer rides to keep it from slipping down my chest - not an issue I've had with other straps.

Prima hartslagmeter, wordt makkelijk gevonden op smartbike en op wahoo navigatie. Geeft hartslag frequentie prima weer naar mijn gevoel. Zit gevoelsmatig niet strak en blijft goed zitten.

Achetée en remplacement de ma ceinture Garmin (Ant+) pour ma montre Amazfit Cheetah Pro (Bluetooth uniquement).Mesures aussi precises.Connection rapide.

Muy contenta , apenas lo use se conecto rápidamente con el garmin o el wahoo trainer . Funciona genial solo que no se puede meter en piscina . Lo recomiendo
