Good Kit
Worked well to remove ball joints and ujoints on my 97 ranger. Great kit that held up well for me. No issues and worth the buy.

USE SOME ANTI-SEIZE AND THIS PRODUCT IS PERFECT!!!
I have an 03 Ram 3500 with a 6” lift and 37” tires on 17” rims. I say this so you know, this truck has seen some rough times. I tried going the rented route from both autozone and oreillys auto parts. These presses were okay, but ultimately used and poorly maintained. I actually sheared the threads off of the ball joint press from autozone. Got my money back, no problem. Then, after being mad as heck over how hard it was to get my ball joints out (7 hours of tear apart) I decided, I’m probably going to have to do this again in a few years so I may as well have my own press. This press came in in about 5 days, which with the COVID impact on shipping was great! And still better and faster than expected. This had all of the cups I needed to install the ball joints. The only issue I had was the threads got heated and started to bur up pretty bad, and after breaking 4 1/2” drive breaker bars (I never said we were smart) we decided to do some investigating. With a couple brushes of some anti-seize and running it in and out a few times (I highly recommend an impact, even though it suggests not using one) the press worked like a dream. Came to the realization that most of the broken tools were from fighting the ball joint press itself and not the actual ball joint. I highly recommend this product to anybody that is working with ball joints, and even though it says it’s for up to 3/4 ton trucks, it will handle a 1 ton with no issue. Again I will stress what other people have said... USE OIL OR SOME ANTI-SEIZE ON THE THREADS!! That is the only reason I gave this a 4 star for durability, though honestly it was probably some operator error. This is significantly cheaper than a press you can get in stores, and does the job very well. I would recommend to pretty much anybody and have already had people asking to borrow it when I’m done.

Good ball joint press kit, but handle with care
I bought the Orion Motor Tech ball joint press kit and it’s generally solid for removing and installing ball joints. The kit comes with the right adapters and feels heavy‑duty, but I did manage to bend the first piece during use. I contacted Amazon and they sent a replacement, which has held up much better once I used a bit more caution during installation. It’s effective when used carefully, but some of the pieces can be bent if you apply too much force or aren’t perfectly aligned. For occasional DIY use, it’s a good value and works well once you understand its limits. Pros • Comes with all necessary adapters • Heavy‑duty feel • Replacement service was smooth • Works well when used carefully Cons • Some pieces can bend under excessive force • Requires careful alignment Overall, a good kit for DIYers who need a ball joint press, just handle it carefully. I’d buy it again knowing what to watch for.

Great value for the money. Don't rent buy this.
I just used this to change my U joints in my truck. For the value of money for this unit you don't need to rent this from your local auto store. It's even cheaper than the Harbor Freight version. Its well made and solid, even comes in a plastic case. It's super easy to use for my application. It's made from solid material. For the cost of a half tank of gas you can have this.

Heavy duty.
Definitely heavy duty worked great on a 02 silverado HD. Does not have the right cup for a 2016 suburban to remove the ball joint but was able to make it work. Definitely recommend.

Ball joints. Not bushings.
Well made. Got it to work, but it wasn't really designed for bushings. I'll update when I do the ball joints. Very heavy duty. I already got my money out of them and expect them to last many more lifetimes than I will.

Works
Purchased the Ball Joint Press to change out the Ball Joints on 2006 Jeep TJ. The kit works and for my application I mostly used the cup that is labeled "Jeep" in the pictures however I did also end up using the cup labeled "Ford" in the pictures. The disks that pictures tag as GM and Chrysler didn't help very much at all. The "Ford" cup helped to "catch" the lower ball joints as I pressed it down. I did see some reviews mention that the C clamps on some of these bend but the C clap on this kit did not bend when I used it. What did bend was the lip on the "Jeep" cup and that "mashed" the lip of the cup and deformed it a bit. It didn't prevent me from completing the job but I don't know if the cup is useable again and that is disappointing (but I hope I don't have to do this job again anytime soon.) Overall the kit works, the C clap did not bend but one of the cups became deformed. At $48 I would recommend the kit but I'd say it is a somewhat disposable tool. 4 Stars because the cup deformed otherwise 5 stars because it worked.

Worked Great. Good Quality.
Worked great on the ball joints for my 05 Jeep Liberty. Seems to be good quality. Bit of a learning curve for a newbie like me, but I figured it out.

Well packaged and good quality. Removed my ball joints in only a few minutes. Just make sure everything is squared up before putting pressure on. 1/2 inch drive sockets can be used if you can’t find exact cup to re install ball joints….
