These filters do such a good job, the proof is in the color it takes on over time - I'm so grateful not to be drinking / using what is filtered out!

Instead of overpriced name brand

Works fine on my whole house 10” water filter.The carbon helps with chlorine smell and sediment.

We purchased these to replace a filter in our water softener system. It was a perfect fit and I like that it is a 2-pack so that we have a spare on hand when it is time to change the filter again.

I have the SimPure 40/200 Micron Spin Down Sediment Filter, Reusable Whole House Sediment Water Filter, installed in line prior to this AQUACREST FXHTC 5 Micron 10" x 4.5" Whole House Water Filter,and between the two I have clean water. I fill a glass of water in my bathroom and leave it out on the counter. When it gets a slight sheen on top, it is time to change the filter. I have had other filters that would not filter this sheen off the glass of water. I have a subscription for this at two every six months. Slightly more than I need. However, I had one filter that leaked the carbon when I first installed it. This created a black water flow. It only happened once and that filter did not pas my residue test for long. Perhaps I did not get it perfectly lined u when installing. I am happy with this product.
