Kework 11.8 inch Micro USB Male to 5 Pin Screw Terminal Female Charging and Data Transfer Adapter Connector Converter Extension Shield Cable Cord (Micro USB Male)

This microUSB breakout cable appears to provide access to 5 separate wire connectors at the microUSB end, however the cable is standard 4-conductor, with the "S" and "-" pins shorted together at the breakout end. I'd hoped to be able to switch a tablet between "Host" and "Client" by signalling through the "S" terminal, but this cable won't allow that. Rated "3-stars" for not specifying that additional information, otherwise quality appropriate with price.

I thought I liked this, but the device I was using it to charge was not charging. I finally realized that the reason was that the molded housing was to thick. It was preventing it from inserting straight into the USB female port.

I use these with my raspberry pi B3 that still have the micro USB port for power. I hook them up to buck power supplies that can produce reliable 5v power. No problems with them at all.

Bought it because the charge cable I cut could not carry enough current to power my Raspberry Pi. Happy to report that this cable works!Been installed on the 3d printer for a couple months now with no issues.
