Gilding Glue by expressions craft is a nontoxic, water based gilding adhesive. The adhesive stays open where extended tack time is required, it dries to a translucent finish and cleans up in water. It can be used straight from the bottle with no dilution on porous and non-porous surfaces, like wood, plaster, glass, metal, leather, terracotta and canvas. Proper tack will develop in 5 – 25 mins at normal humidity depending on the thickness of application. How to use: Brush the immix gilding glue over the clean dry objects to be gilded. Leave for 15 minutes to dry. Then place the gold or silver or copper leaf on the object and brush it with very soft brush. To finish polish with soft cotton cloth.
