6 Pack of Nosorb
This was the only item that worked to get a urine sample from my cat! My vet suggested using a certain type of bean which never worked at all because my cat hated stepping on the beans! No Sorb is a Great item, easy to use & the cat doesn't mind stepping on it!! The urine easily drains from the plastic pellets. The only thing I would recommend is using 2 containers of No Sorb for a large cat.

This absolutely works !!!!
I used this product to collect a urine sample from my cat at my vets request. This worked immediately. My cat was so sick from a UTI infection, the vet was unable to draw a sample and provided me with this product. I replaced the litter with these beads and in the same day my cat used it , I was able to push the beads back, tip the litter box up and use a syringe to suck up the urine and place it in the empty container and run it to my vet for analysis. So easy and no pain for my cat. For Cats this is a miracle product, thank you to whom ever developed it.

Seems like a big ripoff. Terrible idea.
Several days now and my cat has not gone in. Probably need to use all 6 containers to cover litter box and then it still doesn't deliver. I agree with other poster that the granules are probably rough on a cat's feet. What will happen if the cat does urinate in it -- their paws will no doubt step into the urine. If no success tomorrow, I will be returning the product.

Works well but is very expensive and you need a lot to fill a litter box
We have a cat who suffers from frequent UTI's (he has FLUTD). His urine always needs to be tested when he gets a UTI because he has developed a resistance to some of the antibiotics used to treat them. This litter is plastic and does not absorb the urine at all, so it is easy to capture a sample from the box and get it to my Vet. Unfortunately, this litter is very expensive and I have to use about 5 cups every time. I'd love to find something that works as well as this that is more affordable, but as I said, it works exactly as it is meant to.

Work well for our cat
We bought these because a prior vet had them in her office to use for cats that wouldn't give a urine sample. Our new vet didn't have them and we needed a sample to assess his issues and he wouldn't go at the vet office. So I found them myself. They work really well. He seems to think it's just litter and had zero issues using them. We've always put them in a small wash basin from the dollar store and when he goes we pour as much as we can, pellets and all, back into the cup they come in. Our new vet seemed impressed at how well the work for our cat after the shredded paper they gave us to use didn't work and he wouldn't go.

Not great, but better than having urine manually collected at the vet office
My cat would not use the litter box with only one container of Nosorb in it; there wasn't enough material for him to scratch in. I used several containers and he urinated in the box. However, I did not know he had urinated and did not empty the box immediately. The urine dried and the Nosorb stuck to the box. Had to try a third time with more containers of Nosorb and wait until my cat urinated more than once t have a specimen to collect.

Easy to use. Veterinarian approved.
My cats' Vet recommended the Nosorb to me as an easier method of collecting urine samples from my cats.I purchased several from the Vet, but needed several more, and her clinic was out of stock. I was thrilled to find them on Amazon. Some of my cats didn't provide a lot of urine, so I still had to collect a sample in a 3ml oral syringe, but the Nosorb definitely simplified the process.Nosorb is a great product. The plastic, non-absorbant granules, make collecting your cat's urine sample very easy.I prefer to use an extra small, kitten sized, litterbox, as a container of the Nosorb is just enough to cover the bottom of the pan. It is designed for urine collection, not as a litter replacement, therefore there is just enough in each specimen cup for its intended purpose.Step 1: Pour the Nosorb into an empty, clean, litterbox.Step 2: Wait for your cat to use its litterbox.Step 3: Gently pour the urine into the plastic cup, minus the granules, and tightly close the lid.Step 4: Bring the sample to your Vet for uranalys.I would, and I plan to, purchase the Nosorb again, in the future. It's a must have for vets, shelters, rescues, fosters, and good old fashioned crazy cat ladies.
