Toner
I am a repeat customer for this product and due to buy again! Keeps my colour topped up in between hairdressing visits

Lovely copper toner
Vibrant and conditioning, last a good few washes. If you have porous hair just be careful, it did grab on to my drier ends and was a different red colour, but I know this was user error. Do roots first then the last 5 mins add to ends, if you have porous ends. Otherwise a fab copper toner.

It’s bright
Very bright, but does not cover roots of grey. Leaves hair soft. Very messy You need gloves.

Okay
Colour payoff is great and is super easy to apply - however it washes out almost immediately and my pillow is ruined even though I don’t sleep with wet hair Also it doesn’t come with gloves and it does stain!!!

Lovely colour
Very bright vibrant colour. Normally wash in colours do not show up very well but this one looked like I had permanently coloured it after leaving it on for ten minutes. My hair has been previously coloured so will grab the colour more than natural hair might. I will continue to use this for a colour refresh now and again with the reassurance that it will not damage my hair. Very shiny

Amazing for a quick top up with 0 damage!
I use this once a week to top up my hair colour fading and it’s so easy to use. I apply whilst in the shower and wash off before I condition, always comes out looking beautiful. Is a more orange colour but is absolutely stunning. Always worth having it in your house if you use copper/ginger dyes for a quick top up with no damage. Leaves my hair super smooth and soft too.

Deposits a lot of color in one application
Clairol Color Gloss Up Temporary Hair Dye, Terra Copper Hair Color, 1 Count I had been using the L'Oreal Le Gloss in Copper but wasn't seeing as much of a change as I wanted on virgin, medium brown hair and decided to try the Clairol version. They're both toning, glossing conditioners that come in a squeeze tube, are applied to clean, damp hair and left on for up to 15 minutes. The shades of copper are a bit different too, with Clairol's being brighter. Neither can lighten hair, lift the cuticle (aka no damage) or permanently cover greys. The pictures on the Clairol box are not realistic as they show hair being lightened. The effects are modest on virgin hair and will be more intense on porous hair (previously lightened, damaged, or some coily and kinky textures). Having used them both, the Clairol deposits much more color in one go and is also more likely to stain your skin and nails (gloves would have been a good idea, but I guess I can live with orange fingernails for a few days! ) I highly recommend applying this carefully with a brush on sectioned hair so you get even results. The L'Oreal has less color and is a much creamier texture, so it's easy to slap on with your hands and much harder to create an uneven result. They both smell great and condition hair. I leave them both on for 15 minutes. The Clairol creates a noticeable change indoors and outdoors in one application on virgin hair. It took me 3 successive weekly applications to see a change indoors with the L'Oreal. Each tube has 3-4 applications for my layered, shoulder-length hair. I didn't take a before shot, but here are "afters" with one 15 minute application indoors, outdoors in indirect light and outdoors in full sun.

Works great
The product is really really great. Make sure u spread it very good and evenly on your hair though. I used my hands and it stained my hands lol but it came off after a decent scrub.. same with on my face from getting my roots. I will warn to definitely make sure it’s even. It comes on very dark and sticks fast. I noticed I got my root area very well and not so much the middle parts so it looked slightly uneven. I had to wash my root area about 3x to get it to fade a bit. I left it on for a bout 10 minutes and applied to wet hair after I washed it. It’s definitely a copper color but like I said, if you leave it on it is dark at first and if it’s not even there will be lighter/darker areas. It colored on super super fast. My advice: Use gloves, brush through, and if you don’t want it as dark and just want a touch up, try diluting the dye with a red shampoo or conditioner so you can apply it evenly and brush it through. Great for in between hair appts. I did Terra Cotta and I was blonde (bleached) prior UPDATE: It DOES have a pink hue.. just be advised! It’s more one the red side versus ginger copper side but I still liked it.

I had some issues with it, but figured it out in the end.
Terra Copper. It took 2 and a half bottles for one whole treatment of my hair (including hair testing). To get this result (pic #3), I washed my hair with hot water and dried it completely. I put the product on completely dried hair. I sectioned off my hair and started at the bottom of my head, and worked up. Only after I had completely covered my head evenly had I started the 3 hour timer. I then washed it out with water as cold as I could stand it. The reason behind the way I used this is below. I got this thinking it would turn my hair a bit brighter orange than it came out. My hair is naturally a dark blonde color, which kinda matched what the box had for an example. The first picture is my natural hair color. I was going as Kim Possible for a Halloween party (last pic). The first time I tested it, for 15 mins, you could hardly see a red tint to the hair if I shined it in the light. I tried again on the same section for another 20 minutes (for a total of 35 mins) and started to see a little difference (pic #2). I washed my hair the next day, and the test was completely gone, I was surprised. I had followed the box instructions with even more time, and it was gone. I wanted it to last at least long enough for one shower before the party. So I tried again. This time, 1 hour. It was still hard to see, and nothing like the example for dark brown on the box. So, the day before the party, I decided to leave it on for 2 hours, but I got nervous it wouldn't turn out bright enough for what I wanted and left it in another hour. A few days after the party: it's still orange/red. I don’t see any damage to my hair. I have virgin hair (no dyes) and very rarely use any heat on my hair, so I'd notice any new damage. I'll try to come back and update when it all washes out and is back to normal.

Amazing for natural redheads!
I bought Terra cotta copper and it is amazing! I am a 48 year old natural redhead who has faded in recent years. This is the most natural red I’ve tried. I only did 10 minutes and it was a little more vibrant than I wanted. But the color was perfect! Great product!!! Before and after. After is the black shirt after 10 min and 4 shampoos.

Not Temporary as Advertised
Giving one star only due to false advertising and color not matching description. Pros: Color stays vibrant after multiple washes with only a single application. Hair feels soft after, non-damaging Inexpensive Cons: More red than copper Not temporary, I’ve had permanent hair color wash out faster. No directions provided in packaging To note, I am aware than even temporary hair colors can stain. But this color did not budge even a little after many, many washes. I also know that color will show up differently depending on the hair color it’s applied to. I have a blonde balayage and this turned my whole head auburn red. Not the worst but not the color I was going for. If you’re looking for a lasting red that is non-damaging, then this is for you. If you’re looking for a temporary change up, stay far away.
