Exactly As Advertised. Love it!
Love this! Throwing my parents a 50th Anniversary party this month and this will create wonderful atmosphere! I love that you can choose the color, red, green, whitish purple, or blue or you can combine any of those four colors or combine them all. I also love that you can have the galaxy (looks kinda like underwater to me), aurora lights, or both at the same time. The stars are a nice touch, my only wish is that they were white instead of green stars. Canโt change the color of the stars. They are always green. But you also have the option of just a starry night without the other patterns. The stars donโt exactly twinkle but they brighten and dim intermittently. It synced up via Bluetooth to my phone beautifully and I can listen to my own music through the speaker or let it play white noise or its own preset relaxing music. The cord length isnโt terrible although longer is better. Since Iโm going to project in a large room, I can just use an extension cord l suppose. Overall, excellent product! I canโt review its longevity since I just got it today though. It doesnโt seem cheap though. Appears to be well made. Tried to add the video but I kept getting errors no matter how short I made the video so I just have the picture but the motion is true to the product pageโs video.

Galaxy Star Projector by Rosetta DialLens.
I love this purchase. Itโs so relaxing. I love that I can pair it with my phone and listen to music. I have a hard time sleeping and this is sooo relaxing. I absolutely love my Galaxy star aurora projector. Iโm sure small children would love this. Iโm a full grown woman with insomnia. Iโm very relaxed when watching it on my ceiling.

Great projector, helpful with anxiety, great customer service
I gave this projector to my daughter for Christmas and she loved it! She deals with severe anxiety, is on the autism spectrum, and deals with other mental health problems, and the northern lights feature is very calming for her. In fact, it has become a major part of our "grounding" routine when she has a panic attack/autistic meltdown at home. She also uses it at night to help her fall asleep (or when she wakes up during the night to help her relax to fall back asleep). We haven't used the bluetooth feature yet because she doesn't have any devices that do bluetooth (but I think it would be great to use for her music if we do get a device she can use it with), but we love the light feature and the sounds it has programmed in. You can use basic functions using the buttons on the device itself, but with the remote that comes with it, you can adjust more things to your preference. With the lights, you can adjust the intensity (which is super helpful for us because she can turn it dim at night and brighter when she needs it for calming during the day). You can also adjust what colors-any combination of the red, green, white, and blue lights. The "stars" are just a pattern of green dots (which we don't particularly like, but some people might. We'd like them better if they were white and a random pattern so they looked more like stars), but you can turn the "stars" on or off independent of the other lights or sounds, etc. (basically, with the remote, you can do any combination of northern lights-including color combinations and intensity, "stars", and sounds). With the sounds, there's a basic lullaby or a choice of various nature-type sounds and you can adjust the volume of those. You can also set a timer of 1 hour or 2 hours so it will turn off on it's own if you want. I feel like the remote is pretty easy to use and fairly intuitive. I'm not much of a technology person at all, but even with all of the options, I can use the remote just fine to do what I want it to do. We did have a problem, after about 5 months or so, that the power cable became finicky and stopped working properly, and then when we started using another USB power cable we had around the house, the projector started turning off and on by itself. At that point, we just emailed the company directly (the customer service email in the manual that came with it) and they immediately sent us a new one without causing stress or headache for us. The new one has worked perfectly fine for us so far, and it was such a relief to not have added stress because of the issue, especially since my daughter had become so dependent on this light for part of her sleep routine and calming routine when she needed it. I would highly recommend the projector, as well as the company that made it. In fact, I might buy more for my other kids as well (or just for fun for our family).

Great for Large Rooms
This is the one Iโve been searching for! I bought a couple other galaxy projectors in addition to this one, but this one is the best. One was a LiteHaus brand astronaut from Home Depot, another was a smaller Hy-Impact brand projector, also bought at Home Depot. The LiteHaus astronaut has a class 3a laser for the stars and a very small moving nebula projection. I liked how quiet it was, but the radius of the nebula was far too small to keep this one, and the class 3a laser is simply not an option with small kids in the house. The Hy-Impact projector has a class 2 laser and while the moving galaxy radius was much better than the astronaut, the motor was much too loud. Again, while still a low power laser, I was not very comfortable with it around kids. This one from Amazon says itโs a class 1 laser, fading off and on to reduce (not necessarily eliminate, mind you) the risk of eye damage, and the radius of the aurora is fabulous. I have it in a room thatโs about 20 by 14 feet and it fills the ceiling well, fading to the ends of the room. The lasers turn on automatically when it gets plugged in, so be sure to aim it away from faces when you first plug it in so you can turn off the laser stars. I wish there were an easy way to completely disconnect the laser stars so they canโt be turned on, because some small children excel at testing whether parents are telling the truth when they tell them something can blind themโฆ The aurora is beautiful and mesmerizing, and the whole family loves it! You can mix and match up to 3 light colors: red, green, blue, and white; choose the speed of the aurora; turn the stars off and on; and choose the brightness. This is exactly what I was looking for, except that it would be nice to have a switch that would totally disable the laser stars (or sell an option without the laser stars!).

Pretty cool - 8yo room
My son doesn't like a dark room at night so we got this to help. It's been great! He always has the green dots on and then usually changes the colors of the design to red, white, and blue. It's very easy to change the colors and turn on and off the dots if we wanted. We don't use any of the other features. Only thing I wish we could do is tilt the projection so it shows more in the middle of his room. In one of my pictures, you'll see we prop it up a little so the lights go more over his bed.

Worth the money
Can't beat the bang for your buck here. My son is mesmerized by it. Really cool.

Not perfect but pretty
I really like this light and the customization options for color, brightness, speed, and pattern. Unfortunately it makes a humming sound/whine while the motor is running and the only way to get it to stop is to turn off the motion entirely which makes it less fun to look at. I like the way it looks while it's moving and it would be easier to ignore the sound if I had music loud enough in the room, but if you're sound sensitive/neurodivergent like me it might annoy you in a quiet room. The other thing I wish it had was some way to adjust the angle it shines so the whole aurora would project onto the ceiling instead of hitting the wall.

A nice little star projector!
This star projector works very well, and is easy to operate. It is a sturdy design, and should last for a time. It is a great deal for the money.

Dreamy
Have been using this little star projector for over 7 months now and my wife and I love it. we use it in the bedroom before sleeping while we read and it is very soothing. You can change the colours and tempo or set it up to pulse with music or sounds, which we don't really use but its there if wanted. The build quality is very good and we have not had any problems after nightly use. The stars are in a fixed pattern which could be better but the colours dance and swirl nicely creating a wonderful effect. The remote is a must have and works very well. Highly recommended.

Amazing
I've been using this for a few months now and it still works. What it projects is beautiful and clear. Always looks like I'm underwater or under some fantasy sky. It even looks good on video calls. People I call get distracted by it and stare in wonder. The audio quality isn't the best but I never use it anyway so I don't care.

Stopped working :(
***EDIT: they sent me a new one when I just messaged the seller. Iโve been using this every night since February and it is now June. I started noticing some lag in how the light flows (it would get stuck rather than flow) maybe in March but if I banged on it again it would work again. Now in June itโs on the brink of completely breaking with only the green star light working. I still loved the product and I wish I could get a replacement because I will miss it for sure.

Dont fall for it
Its pure waste of money, the cheapest astronaut is far far better than this.
