USA Pan Bakeware Aluminized Steel Donut Pan, 6-Well

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Arrived well packaged and in a timely manner. I use USA Pans for all my baking needs. They are very well constructed and very easy to clean. These pans should last for years. I have been using this brand for years. I really like the assortment of baking pans they offer. My baked food comes out perfectly baked and I have never had any food stick in these pans. The finished product slides effortlessly out of the pan when done. I am very pleased with these products.

I have been a home baker for many years and just recently purchased two doughnut pans after having purchased other USA pans in the past. Anything I have ever baked in USA pans has always turned out perfect! Pans are of a nice heavy weight and everything just pops out after baking. (I do lightly grease my pans) Made chocolate doughnuts (my own recipe; not one provided) and they were absolutely perfect! These pans bake everything so evenly. Cleaning the pan is a breeze. I haven't ever had anything stick that would require the use of any plastic scrubber. Just wash with hot soapy water and a dishrag; it can't get any easier than that. I don't usually leave reviews; but just wanted to let others know how wonderful these pans are. If you're looking for a sturdy, well made pan that will last for many years; you won't be sorry if you purchase USA pans.

I like my new USA Bakeware Aluminized Steel Donut Pan because it is made of heavy-duty steel that does not warp under high heat, is so non-stick (no chemical coatings) that no cooking spray oil is required, is large enough for me to handle when hot and cleans up with a minimum of effort & hot water. This is my 3rd USA bakeware product and I love them all. Buy the muffin tins and you will immediately know what I am talking about.

I’ve found all USA Pans to be good products and this is no exception. Not as expensive as the W-S gold bakeware and does everything equally as well. It’s also made in the USA, not imported.

I saw a recipe for cheesy onion rings made in a donut pan so I ordered this and I am very happy with it. Very well made.

The pan is heavy weight, which any serious baker will tell you is a necessity. No floppy pan here. I used a combination of crisco and coconut oil to lightly coat the pan and the doughnuts all popped out without any effort. The color was uniform on all 6 doughnuts without turning the pan halfway through the baking time. My doughnuts also baked evenly in the listed time on the recipes which is another indicator of a well constructed pan. Clean up was very easy. A bit of dish soap and dish rag, quick wipe and rinse and perfectly clean. I would recommend ordering two if you plan to make more than 12 doughnuts. The doughnuts work best with a 10 minute rest time while still in the pan after removing from the oven. As the bake time for a pan is in the 10ish minute range you could have a second pan baked while waiting for the first pan to cool. I am making 2-3 dozen so a second pan means a significant amount of time saved. So I have ordered a second. An aside. I am making key lime pie doughnuts. I decided to try adding the key lime pie filling as a center layer in the doughnuts. I expected that to be the time my batch would stick. Nope. Popped out perfectly holding a lovely shape.

This is my first pan with the silicone coating (I'm still using stainless steel I got when we married!) and I love this stuff. My first batch of donuts turned out smoothly with a small spatula -- so well that the pan looked clean when I was done. I was able to pour my second batch as soon as the pan had cooled a little, with absolutely no in-between cleanup necessary. Needless to say, it did clean up easily afterwards. I'm not sure it heats evenly, though -- seems like the two in the center didn't get quite as done. Use a pastry bag with a large, round icing tip on it to pipe your dough for the rounded tops a regular fried donut would have. Using a plastic bag with a corner cut off produces a flat line of dough and results in donut tops that look more like crullers. I iced mine, so nobody can tell the difference, but glazed or plain donuts will look funny if you do it that way.

This donut pan works very well! Cake donuts come out easily, it's definitely non-stick. This donut pan feels solid and built to last, compared to other brands' cheaply made donut pans.

I’ve used these once so far and they are really good. The next time I will not fill them up as much since they came out as more mini cakes than donuts.

Impressed with the sturdiness of this pan, I especially liked the wide border to make grabbing a hot pan easier with thick gloves because it does get hot. My first try with cake doughnuts turned out beautifully. Easy to release if pans are prepared properly, and easy to clean. A great product.

I made sure to not over fill and my donuts came out great. Pan is great quality!
