As a guitar builder, this bridge is a godsend, allowing horizontal adjustment to compensate for my odd mistakes in Bridge location. String Alignment is easy to correct. My goto Brand now !

The max adjustment you can make on the intonation is 7mm because the adjustment screw doesn't go all the way through the block like most other bridges. (It can't because it would hit the worm screw that adjusts height). This means that although you can slide the bridge mounts a long way back, in reality to do that (like I needed to and is pictured) you have to shorten the screws to do this. This is quite tricky to make sure you cut them the right length and a pain in the bum. Looks good but design is not great!

Interesting bridge.I almost always use the Schecter 3D bass bridge in my builds.They are beautifully made, and low profile. But mostly, they are one of the few bridges on which you can adjust the string spacing.This Guyker bass bridge also allows adjustment of the string spacing, and costs about a fifth of the Schecter.So what's not to like?Well, a few things.As some of the other users say, you have to have a little skill to install any bridge.The Guyker bridge doesn't have a large amount of adjustment for string length. So depending on where you install it on the bass, you might have to shorten the long adjustment screws on one or more of the saddles.Also, the adjustable saddle pieces that move from side to side (clever!) need the grub screw loosened and a good whack with a drift pin or screwdriver to get them moving.None of this is hard to do if you have a few tools and know what you are doing.I installed this bridge on a particularly good Rickenbacker copy. Ricks have narrow string spacing, and the usual Fender-style bridges do not cut it.To get adjust the string spacing to the exteme narrowwness required for this job, I also had to shave a bit off the inside end of the moveable string saddle cyinders for the E and G strings.It just fits.Now looks great and the strings sit properly on the fingerboard.

It is awful. The screws for setting intonation only go in so far. This will never intimate correctly, the design is flawed. I set up guitars and basses for years. This design is the worst I've seen

After ordering 2 x 1 inch 4-48 screws for the top strings and using the shorter ones that came with it (1.25 inch) on the 2 lower strings, I could achieve perfect intonation.This bridge is excellent, allowing the string spacing to be adjusted so the strings sit right in the middle of the pickup poles. The only issue is that 2 of the intonation screws that come with it are too long for most basses.

It looks nice but the intonation screws barely move! It is rendered completely useless and doesn’t do its job. As a few of other reviews say you cannot fully get your bass in tune if you use this bridge.

Thanks to previous reviewers I knew what to expect. Cutting down the two bass adjustment screws by 1/2" - ten minutes. Filing off the burring from the spacing locking screws - twenty minutes. It is not a Fender replacement part, and is not advertised as such, so six new screw holes need to be accurately aligned and drilled - don't assume the original holes were at the right scale length and properly centred on the midline. If you can't do these simple things you shouldn't be trusted to replace the bridge on an instrument. I agree the manufacturer should have covered these points, but a spacing adjustable heavyweight bridge for this price? Sounds great when fitted, better than the lightweight unit it replaced. Still gets four stars.

The string spacing (bar?) black thing overlaps with the path of the intonation adjustment screw leaving a very limited range of adjustment. Product photo shows almost full range of adjustment. Now have extra holes drilled into my body and have to find another bridge without major design flaws.

First of all, I was shocked at the weight of this bridge. I know it's marketed as hi-mass, but I wasn't expecting the mass that it has. This bridge replaced a stock bridge on a Squire Mini P that I modded out. The quality of the parts are very good and the adjustments versatile. I especially like how it can accommodate a top load, or string thru design. Others have mentioned that the intonation screws are long and bottom out before you can reach intonation. That did happen to me. I took the screw to Home Depot, matched it up with shorter screws, and the problem was solved. I forget the size, but it is a common size. I would definitely purchase this bridge again. If Guyker wanted to improve this product, simply include a shorter screw in the package. Reviews and sales will go way up.

I used this to upgrade bridge mass, add string thru body and correct string spacing issue on my odd homemade short scale fretless. It positively sings now! More sustain and volume.This bridge was JUST what I needed - the saddles side to side adjustment is spot on!The stock saddle screw with spring was kinda long for my bass - trimmed 4 mm off to get intonation closer. FYI The hole dead ends pretty quick. Would be nice if it passed thru?I de-burred the hole the string passes thru.I replaced the "metal" allen screws in the saddles with steel ones from old bridge. Longer and more sturdy.

An sich ein solides Teil. Habe die Brücke in schwarz geordert, die Beschichtung ist recht dünn und weich, sie zerkratzt somit leicht. Die mitgelieferten Schrauben waren standart silbern, passen optisch also nur bedingt. Die Reiter scheinen den Einstellmöglichkeiten nach recht gut, einziges Manko: die Gewinde der Einstellschrauben in Richtung Hals (für die Bundreinheit) sind lediglich in den Reiter hinein gebohrt, nicht hindurch. Das Spiel zum Einstellen ist somit recht begrenzt, was eine genaue Positionierung der Brücke erfordert.Bedenkt man, dass man zum gleichen Kurs eine Fender Bridge bekommt, würde ich nächstes maö die kaufen.

I appreciate the adjustability of the bridge but the actual screws that come with the bridge are garbage quality. Found myself having to replace them with better quality screws.
