What material is this mattress made of?

Hi,

We two choices of mattresses for the Sleepi Mini Bed, which are the Sleepi Mini Mattress by Colgate/the Sleepi Mini Mattress w/organic Cover by Colgate, which is, also referred to as the Nuzzle Snuze mattress.
The Sleepi Mini Mattress is a polyurethane foam mattress that is firm, strong and durable with a non-toxic cover and waterproof backing.  
Whereas, the Sleepi Mini with the organic cover uses an innovative material called Natures Weave, a matrix of fibers that enhance the open-air construction of the mattress for maximum airflow and pressure relief. The organic cover is ultra-soft cotton that is free of Lead/Phthalates free and Greenguard Gold Certified. The organic cotton mattresses do not have a waterproof back.

Does this come in a smaller size?? Can I trim this if not? I need 36”

Hi Stokke Customer,
The Sleepi product line has 3 mattresses that come in different sizes, depending on the version of the Sleepi being used - we have mattresses for the Mini, the Bed and the Junior. Unfortunately all of the measurements for the mattresses are fixed and we are unable to customize or alter these upon request. Please also keep in mind that warranty will not cover alterations made by the customer.

Is this mattress overly firm or have a slight plushness to it? I bought a naturpedic mattress and it’s so hard!

Stokke has two choices of mattresses for the Sleepi Mini Bed, which are the Sleepi Mini Mattress by Colgate/the Sleepi Mini Mattress w/organic Cover by Colgate, which is, also referred to as the Nuzzle Snuze mattress.

Is it waterproof?

Thank you for your interest in Stokke products!

The Stokke® Sleepi™ mattress offers optimal support for the child’s body, with a foam density of 35 kg/m3 and 40% compression at 3.7 kPa. 
The Stokke® Sleepi™ mattress cover can be hand washed at 40 °C. Make sure to stretch it to size while still wet. Do NOT use a tumble dryer. The foam filling can be hand washed at 60 °C and/or rinsed with warm water. We recommend the use of protection sheets in case of little spills or accidents. In such cases, quickly remove and wash outer covers.
